I think you missed out on the biggest tip for the camera. which is the aspect ratio. The default setting for the camera ( Sony ZV-E10 ) is 16:9 but you can actually change that to 3:2 which provides more resolution, enhancing the quality of the picture and give more possibilities to editing / cropping. Quiet a lot of people don't know about this and I wish you mentioned it in your video to help out new photographers :/
Hmm i just tried. in 16:9 my photo has 2.07MP on the pc. and in 3:2 it says 1.75MP .. the mp seems to droped in 3:2. i am viewing photos in fast stone image viwer

I'd suggest using manual focus and getting the focus then putting the timer on OR use the Sony app - then turn on "AF w/ Shutter" in the camera settings - then use the app to trigger the shutter
I haven't tried the autofocus that you suggest man, it seems interesting, being a beginner always wonder what that does and how it can affect so, yeah, I'll try this pro tip right away! thank you!!

When I take them in the camera they look a certain way, but once I export and post them they look cropped. Is there a setting or something I can change to fix this or is it a lens thing?
Might be able to help. When you're in photo mode, jump into the settings, look for the "aspect ratio" option, and make sure you're in "3:2". If you're not, that should fix it.

In my opinion, I’d always keep the shutter at 2x the frame rate. This means that we can only adjust ISO, aperture, or use an ND filter to get exposure. Each has their place. Hope that helps

Hey thanks for checking out the channel. I don't know if I'd suggest either. The rolling shutter for fast moving subject might create some warping of straight lines for you. I'd suggest something with a better rolling shutter performance which might bump up the price point a bit unfortunately

Is there any overheating issues with sony ZV-E10 like ZV-1? I am asking this cause many sony cameras have overheating issues. Even my 13 years old sony handycam has this issue. I hope if sony fixes this in future cameras...
I haven't had any issues with it and have done a lot of long-form. I don't fully agree that Sony has overheating issues but I guess that depends on how long you need to record, what model we are talking about, and if you're doing long-format in direct sunlight. I'm using a Sony ZV-E10 with the kit lens, and I've noticed something odd when shooting at 50mm. The top part of my photos always seems overexposed, and if I shoot in portrait orientation (holding the camera anti-clockwise), the left side becomes overexposed instead. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any idea what might be causing it or how to fix it?

Hey man - it’s a classic “it depends” answer. I did make some suggestions on my “ZV E10: Tested” video that might offer some context. In short, I think the Sony 10-18 and the Sigma 16 1.4 is an excellent combo.

Hey Neeraj, I don't think the EVF is a concern especially when you're first starting out. I don't think the LCD performs well in the sunlight, but there aren't a lot of Sony cameras that do at this price point. Even the a7iv isn't great in that respect.

How do you open the ARW Files from the ZVE10 in Lightroom without converting?
Try Adobe Raw? I've only used Lightroom and am not 100% sure what you mean by converting. All the best
