  • I take my 2007 Honda VTX 1300c out on the highway! Hit 100 mph, and check out the great scenery! I'm still using the iON Air Pro Wifi Lite camera as well.

As an owner of a 2008 I can say that this is one sweet highway bike! I would recommend a windshield if you want the most comfortable and safe ride. You hear that wind noise? Imagine no wind noise.

A ton boy !!! That's what the Brits called a guy who made 100 mph back in the cafe days. Although, they didn't have this bike or that super slab. But still very cool !

why no one told me about this bike before???
I kept looking at stateline and fury and kept rejecting them. Stateline even very decent bike but it had too long wheelbase.
Now when I got 1600 vulcan, I came across vtx1300, every thing I wanted in the bike. :(
I am going to buy this come summer..

Night Watch Yeah it was pretty bad. I've since changed my camera setup though so nows its a bit better even without a windshield. But thanks for the tip and for checking out the video!

saul Chulo Well I've bought a sena 10c which has an internal microphone because it is a communication device to other senas. But before that I got a free Bluetooth audio recording app on my phone, I went out and bought a cheap Bluetooth headset and recorded my audio. Then in TH-cam editing I adjusted the camera volume (which is the loud wind) and the Bluetooth volume (which was my voice) , so that my voice was more clear but matched the camera audio. It was a long process that didn't always work so that's why I bought the sena 10c. My newer riding videos have the sena footage if you are wondering what that is like.

I own a 2004 VTX 1300C. It’s got Mustang seats, a windshield, saddlebags, the whole nine yards. Super comfortable bike. But what I can’t wrap my head around is, unless you’re burning oil, how are you cruising at/above 70mph? Since they don’t have a 6th gear, I have found from multiple tests that I cannot exceed 65mph without burning oil.
Edit: I’m also ruling out that something is wrong with my bike since this has been consistent over the past 5-6 years, and also considering that my brothers ‘95 1100 Sabre and my dads ‘97 1500 Valkyrie have the same issue due to the lack of a 6th gear.

Danny Deuce Well I may be burning oil, I wasn't aware of this problem and my bike never seemed to have any issues at those speeds. But I have noticed that my speedometer is wrong. So this video shows 100 mph but afterwords I've come to the conclusion that once I get past 60 mph, it says I'm going about 10 mph faster than I really am. I've read other vtx owners have the same issue but the ways to fix it I think are silly and not worth it. I'll look into the oil thing and let you know though, I wasn't even aware that was a thing so thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Wealum no problem man! And yeah, with the speedometer, I’ve found that it’s usually about 10% off, give or take. If my speedo says 75 then I’m really doing more like 68, according to GPS. Lower speeds are more accurate, but I’ve always been safe assuming a 5MPH discrepancy.

The 6th gear on cruisers don't make a big difference man on a few hundred rpm tbh ...

Is that the Fury model or one of the other VTX models?
