I’ll be 70 in a few days and I have lived with fibromyalgia since my 20’s. Over the years I’ve learned that exercise is one of the best things I can do to manage my symptoms. I think it’s important to say that slow, small increases in effort help to avoid flares while increasing fitness levels. I try to get at least 1 hour of exercise a day. Occasionally I skip exercise if I’m having a really bad day but I find that I can usually at least walk on most of those days and get some symptoms relief. Thank you for your videos. Most people can’t understand what its like to live with fibromyalgia and it’s refreshing to hear someone articulate the struggles of the condition.

Good to listen another bloke with fibro. I weight train and do cardio, nothing like i used to but consistency is key and make sure you rest in-between. Getting going is painful but i know it improves everything.

Stretching helps me. I know that's not "exercise". I've also thought about trying tai chi. 🤔 Something gentle but keeping my body and fascia moving.

Have you considered the Carnivore Diet. It's an elimination diet. Meat is the least inflammatory food you can have. I have Fibromyalgia and since starting it my symptoms have improved greatly. Please look in to it.

I was diagnosed with fibro when I was 16, I am 40 now. My health has gone down hill. So bad that I am on disability benefits now. I can walk for 30 min without rest, without it backfiring. I do that twice a day. I can hardly ride a bike, because the muscle in my buttocks start to complain after only 5 min. I go to the gym under supervision of my physical therapist. Really light weights, but more repetitions.
