Agreed. By way of comparison: go to the video of this opera stage directed by Peter Ustinov with Gedda as Tamino; there you'll hear a young Moll as (the best) 2nd Man in Armor. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

I am by no means an opera critic, and everyone has their own opinions.. I disagree with "stilted" being assigned here. That out of the way, thank you for this perfect upload, the video quality is amazing and the audio is perfect.
