Filipinos are very hard to please when it comes to High Ballad songs because Philippines is full of Belters and Balladeers.... But Pia did this song justice 100%.... So I'm not surprised she's being embraced. She deserves it!
Apparently it’s a project Troy Loreta is doing and is becoming a quick hit🥰 superb idea Troy! Thank you for inviting these awesome international singers sing our OPMs ❤️🙏🏼
Wow! I never imagined someone would do a version of Regine's iconic Kailangan Kita. Regine Velasquez put a stamp to this song and Pia mightily put her own on it. Majestic Version of an already majestic song. Bravissima Pia Toscano.
These foreign artists have likely figured out by now how their Filipino counterparts are some of the most skillful in the world. The innately long vowel articulation of the Filipino tongue makes for a good breathing exercise and the staple mellow discography are the easiest to add adlibs and belting style to.
Really love Pia voice since American Idol. N really love filipin song sooo much. Im a fan of Erik Santos, Sarah Geronimo, Angeline Quinto, Katrina Velarde n moreee😄. Btw, I'm from Malaysia😊.
I don't understand the meaning of the song Satu Malaysia, but I really love that song. I heard it played at the Petronas Tower water fountain show and I fell in love with it without knowing the words. It's on my Playlist of international songs.
Wow! How did she do it? She sounded like a real Filipino singer the diction is on point! Thank you Troy Laureta for giving us these Filipino song sang by American artists! Looking for the Official Music Video. God bless!
They say that filipinos are hard to pls. when it comes to singing cuz they are known for there blow the roof high notes and considered the black americans of Asia, but when i hear her sing the version of our very own Queen of all Divas Regine V. during her 2003 concert, I was really amazed on how she nailed it..
For those who don’t know, Pia Toscano is actually a contestant on American Idol Season 10 which is the one before Jessica Sanchez’s and she should have won or at least made it to the finale in my opinion, but unfortunately, she got eliminated way early in the competition. You have to follow and support this girl because she’s one of the best singers in the world and heavenly is how I would describe her beautiful voice.
being Italian, her vowels are open as Tagalog vowels, that makes this song really fits her. I just notice a lot of them struggle with word that begins with "ng"...bravo nonetheless. Molto bella!
Nakakatuwa na may mga foreign singers na nagbigay ng hustisya sa mga napakagagandang mga OPMs natin. Naiyak ako sa version na 'to. Huhu lab et! 😍 This is a very good tribute to Regine Velasquez because she is the original female singer who sang this male song OPM. ❤❤❤
From one RV fan this made me sooo proud that arrangement & version is just like RV's and Pia you nailed it! Thank You Star Music & Troy Laureta for this!
I agree this is beyond on everyones imagination That arrangements and keys are same to our asias song bird kailngan kita during that concert with mr martin nievera

So far this is the best rendition I've heard from Tony Laureta x intl artists' renditions. Not a professional singer but as a music lover, I liked how smooth it was sung and it did capture the Filipino's love for birit. Tbh, i dont know them both but this is such a great tribute for iconic OPM love songs 👍💯
It was unexpected when Pia was eliminated early in American Idol. She was a threat to other contestants. She’s my favorite in her batch. Love thisssss btw 😍😍😍
That high notes, Oh My God, it made my whole body goosebumps. What a beautiful and powerful rendition coming from foreign artist. I really commend this version of Pia. Outstanding in all sense. Nailed it Pia.
i just realized her name is familiar to me. then i remember a duet with NEVER ENOUGH girl. they done TELL HIM. and i was so amazed to her song/version of ALL BY MYSELF. now this song KAILANGAN KITA. i never knew she can sing OPM and her dictions and pronunciations are so perfect. like a natural born filipina. clap clap... superb.
This was like Regine's 2020 version! Gagaling nilang lahat. Nakakaproud dahil nakanta sila ng mga Filipino songs even though they do not stay here. OPM is still the best ❤️
WOW! I am impressed... brings back Kween Regine’s version of this song during her concert with Martin Neviera. The most iconic version of this SONG! ❤️❤️❤️
Now I want Bruno Mars to sing buwan it fits his style
I totally agree... haha. I've been telling this to my sisters and they're going nuts hahaha
YESSSS!! That's accurate !!

Love listening to her version!! Thanks for sharing and God bless you Apia!
Yeah, super great suggestion. That song will suits him. A pop winner.
Filipino singers can sing foreign song perfectly and now surprisingly foreign singer can belted tagalog song wow I'm so amazed..
Proud pinoy 🇯🇵🇵🇭
my foreign friends says tagalog is the easiest languange to learn ☺️
@@aeondale011 give me a foreigner friend pls
Let us make this trend. Pia Toscano's pronunciation was impeccable!
I think thats because she speaks Spanish. Tagalog and Spanish are both phonetics with similar vowel sounds.
@@nobodycaresbutme Of italian descent, actually.
@@nobodycaresbutme plus that the voice coach was superb!
It is 😭😭
Not that empeccable.. I can still hear minor mispronounciations especially those words with ng in it.

Totoo kasi yung ibang nagcocover ng Filipino ballads sablay na yung pronunciation sa Tagalog nakapaka bland pa ng pagkakanta.
Yessss
Your name though
Thank you for your opinion, Penis.
This is absolutely true
foreign artists played the reverse card, now THEY are the ones singing our songs. i LOVE this.
Its nothing new. A lot of foreigners do covers of tagalog songs on youtube
Regine Velasquez would be so proud to her, singing Regine's rendition. 👏
Actually she's part of the album.
Tatlong versions meron siya sa album na to lol
Pia Toscano absolutely gave justice to Regine's version. Her tagalog pronunciation was also on point. Way to go Pia. Congratulations Troy Laureta.
What's with all these foreign singers singing Filipino hits?! Jesus I just listened to Nicole smash Pangako and now Pia??? ❤️❤️
there's also Ailee singing an OPM song..
thanks to this Filipino Producer Troy!

Thanks David Foster for Trusting Troy 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Pia is so worthy to do a Regine arrangement!
Soooo capable!
In fairness to Pia, who's Italian-American, her pronunciation of the Tagalog lyrics is good.
its tagalog... filipino is our nationality. tagalog is our language 🙄🙄
That "Dinarasal" part at 3:30 felt like her voice went straight and knocked the heaven's doors.
Interpreting a none English song is one thing, singing it as it was her own and take it up to another level is another. She nailed it!
