In today's episode, we are very excited to share with you the MagMod XL kit. We were sent this a few weeks back to try out, experiment, give feedback. And to be quite honest, this thing was a really great surprise! There are so many good things to say about it. From the softness of the XL MagSphere, to the tightness of the 20 degree grid, everything about this kit just feels hyper elevated from the regular MagMod equipment. It allowed us to shoot in situations that we normally would struggle with a bit more. We're definitely gonna be taking it on many more shoots so please stay tuned!

I ordered the 2 strobe kit plus another XL sphere, with the creative gel set. Then from B and H I ordered an artistic gel set. I have 2 flashpoint Xplor 600 pro monolights. I also have the magmod system for my on camera flash.
Great review man! Excited to try these out! Always have a 400 at hand for unexpected situations. Already being a larger light, having a fast modifier system seriously makes a difference!
Thank you Andre! Absolutely, for when you need a lot of light, it just makes life so much easier. And the grid I really like is the tighter one...that thing surprised me with how cool it looks. I even started using 2 grids on my 200 sometimes to narrow the beam down even more to have that tighter look
I used the same para snap softbox and I find myself using the MagMod XL now too!
The images on the video look great and the music was a great compliment.

Awesome! Honestly, Ron, you're gonna love it! The quality is so soft on the sphere. I'll be filming some BTS on tonight's shoot so I'll post some more examples :)

I use the H400P all the time with my AD400, and the H400P makes me a lot less worried if I knock over the stand. I think it is indispensable, especially when you use AD400 outdoors.

Thank you! And dude! I thought my battery was just old. Does yours drain fast too? Luckily I only use it for very small portions of the day and just a few key shots but yeah the battery dies pretty fast
@@TNKPhoto yea my battery on my two ad400 sucks , not the same for my ad600 is a monster i can take many 3 weddings without any charge. same with the ad200 and v1 are great
