Kalinga Valley (Kalinga Ghaats) is located 48 km away from Phulbani, the district headquarters on the Phulbani - Berhampur National Highway. The valley is famous for silviculture garden and medicinal plant cultivation. The silviculture garden has rubber trees and human-thick bamboo plants.
Kalinga is a beautiful ghat section of Vijaywada -Ranchi corridor. This is a major pass of easternghat which connect western part to eastern part of Odisha. Kalinga is famous for its zig-zag roads. The roads spiral around the high hills like a serpentine and offer an enchanting experience to whoever drives over them like nowhere on earth.
