I can't wait to see it painted.
What a great member of the Canyon, ShakerMT, not sure of the spelling. for providing Mr. Canyon with content! What a cool build 😎 Man do I wish I had that kind of cash 💸 💰 🤑
Go get it if you really want it? The only thing that's holding you back is you and your thoughts! We create our own reality's.......for the most part!
@rccrawlingaddict207 I'll just wiggle my nose and maybe it'll appear
As a loyal member myself, thank you ShakerMT.
Or you can get a better job or a second one?@@jackhando5465
VP said on their live stream that they recommend a 24mm horn with the BTA kit. I've got the stubby kit and a BTA ordered for my Zoku Phoenix now too. My VRD already has the stubby BTA. Running the RS700 v2 servo, rhino, holmes motor, and an rs100 for dig
On a 6ish lb. Truck I run super soft in front and soft rear YZZR inserts!
Same here
The rig looks awesome now. Can't wait to see it painted. Order some super soft YZZRs throwm up front, call it badass.
My vote is the freaks and pro x’s. It looks like it might sneak up and mug you in a alley
The bug looks great and I agree those tires look good on him they are beefy boys, I like a wide rig mine is 11 1/2 inches wide outside to outside of tires. That servo IS stupid fast! waiting on paint 😁 as always thanks
I just finished my VRD build with the behind the axle kit. I have a Holmes revolver 1800KV with a 15T pinion......and, the included, shorter skid plate definitely hits the motor. Like you, I will drop to a 14T and if necessary a 52T spur. I used a Reefs 800lp with a 10amp bec. The servo is stupidly overpriced, but hey, I don't want to leave all of my money to the kids;-) I run super soft YZZRs on my SCX10 Pro at 5.8lbs.....and intend to run Squids on the VRD.
I love a nice bug, but I don't like'm that wide. It could use smaller hubs. I would want the low-pro servo as well. Nice build so far, can't wait to see the paint.
I like the Baja Pros better. That's my 2 cents! 🤓
This little guy does well on that stiff tread.
They will work in with time. I got two sets of mediums and now they run soft
Herbie!!!
fun build. behind axle servo, behind axle steering is draglink behind axle traditionally. Treal width looked skinnier and better, either tire actually.
I like the Treal wheels better, but prefer the look of the Treps over the Baja Pros. Surprisingly.
@@CrawlerCanyon I like both tires but I aggree the treal's look better. The Trep's need super soft and soft I think. I think they may break in and preform better with time. Loving the way it looks and handles so far. Oh in the video a few days ago you mentioned you sold like 27 shirts, 3 were mine :)
@@CrawlerCanyonboth tires are nice, about the wheels, the treal look much better
Total awesomeness 👏 ❤
In their video, Vanquish recommends a minimum 25mm horn.
Those Vanquish wheels are badazz. I own one set that i bought like 8 years ago. I have the blue 1.9 methods. Still look great
I have learned that Megalithic tires need an insert that is 2mm larger diameter. So there is a decent percent more insert than needed with those tires. That 2mm is noticed while driving.
I ordered inserts for TSL' s and Megalithics. Tested 109mm inserts and 111mm inserts in both tires. The 111mm inside TSL's is almost too much but works OK. The 109mm inside Megalithics???....feels decent but not great. But the 111mm inside Megalithics is money. This being in my area of course.
There it is, more VRD, thanks 👍 I’ve built mine yesterday, sadly the 1800kv Fusion (not SE) doesn’t fit into it. So I’m now thinking about buying a pro or going for a short outrunner & the stubby conversion kit. Perfect timing, can’t wait to watch the video now and for your thoughts and opinion😊👋
Rhino 80a esc and a 35-42 outrunner tons of power this would be a non stubby version
@@nicholasstephey8475 thanks, i don’t know much about outrunners yet, because i disliked this screaming noise so far. The conversion kit requires a maximum length of 35mm, so I just started finding out more😅
@@bouncingnoise the screaming meany is the castle brand esc.
@@nicholasstephey8475 good to know, appreciate it 👍
If you want a easy install get the stubby motor. A Holmes regular length v3 will fit but it takes some work.
Ya do know wot Buggered means.........😊
My VFD Stubby kit came with what I assumed are spacers for the servo. Full size T-440 in mine is tucked up just above the bottom of the axle tube.
Spacers are installed, they're fairly visible. But even with the spec sheets claiming that the 440 is only 1.5mm shorter vertically than the A75, it's hanging a good bit lower than that.
@@CrawlerCanyon
Maybe It's my point of view. Who knows. But, from an aesthetic point, the black servo spacers are very visible on mine. I have alloy axles from one of VPs promotions I didn't know what to do with. This kit has benefitted from those.
👍👍
😊
Inserts will break in.
a 3d insert break in ? never heard such thing.
By al means toss that servo on the tester and can we get a mavrik run?
Hey. First I want to say you have a great channel. But in order to understand the degree of difficulty of your stone formation, you have to film from the side... not from above, then we don't see how difficult it is...
What servo is that
AGFRC A75BUMW.
CAN anyone tell me the wheel combo . i cant not find those with a ring?
The Treal wheels are linked in the description, the fancy ones are Vanquish KMC445s in gold, with blue Delta IFR rings. You have to want those wheels, as it's ~$200 for the set including IFRs and hubs.
@CrawlerCanyon thank you for the reply. The blue and gold are killer looking . Love the videos..
