Hey Vernon, this is Ralph in Arizona. You know I bet you’re really enjoying that weather up there compared to being in Las Vegas. I don’t know what the temperature is there, but it’s been about 110 115° in Vegas nearly all summer. So I know you don’t miss that. Take care bud.😊
@@FinallyFishing That would definitely be a different environment. Manitoba has a diverse range of fishing opportunities. I'm sure you will find lots of great areas to explore.
Hi Vern, who'd have thought that garlic chicken was a favourite? That last one was a good size! 😅 I doubt if one can ask for a better backdrop than the river with greenery, the blue skies and huge, fluffy clouds. Great video, man! 🏞💙🎣
Thanks for the video Vernon. I'm definitely gonna check out this spot as I love urban catfishing. For bait, next time try shrimp but spray it with PAM cooking oil. No joke.
You're gonna hate this answer, but any time. Sometimes 6 am, sometimes 2 pm. Fish are more active in low light conditions, but you can catch them any time of day.

Hey Ralph, I have been enjoying the Summer up here. It's nice and hot but not that crazy Vegas hot. The trade off is having to deal with mosquitos...
Hard work this time for great fish 🐟. Well done! We’ll try the garlic chicken on the fire tomorrow - but without the hooks.
Maybe add some other spices to that chicken too Joe, we ain't catfish.
Those cats have good taste! Love garlic chicken! Nice area!
Thanks, and I hear you, just note that is raw chicken...
@@FinallyFishing ya, cooked chicken would be wierd! Think I’ll try it though! Not cooked of course!
Much better size fish than Las Vegas. Enjoy your new environments. Great content
Thanks Bud, and Vegas has big ones, it's just harder to find.
Beautiful spot. What a nice day of fishing on the mighty Red.
Indeed, thanks. I am used to fishing the shores of lake Mead, so these green areas are still so weird looking to me.
