- In wake of the recent turnover in the lake and all of the fish succumbing to the heat and lack of oxygen in the water, we have decided to take action and try to harvest as many living catfish as we can before its to late and they go to waste. Hey Cole me and my family went down where they are draining at the creek channel close to the dam and caught 37 channel catfish and 16 crappie but they were so close we used a dip net no poles and my brother caught a 40lbs buffalo in a net

I lost a BRAND NEW river anchor in that spot a year ago. Didn’t check the knot from the factory. 😂 I tossed it in and kept drifting…. Pulled up an empty rope 😭

I still don't understand the reasoning why they should have drained that Lake Conway I want fish in there when I was younger I just think it's ignorant for what they did and I don't understand what they're doing
The Arkansas game and fish commission has never given a legitimate reason to me. As you see in Cole's video earlier there was a healthy population of many different species found dead. But it looked like a healthy ratio of species.

I'm sorry but the sight of all those dead fish just pisses me off. No other way to put it. I have a little creek less than a mile from me, that is bank full because of the hurricane. I'm thinking I might go there tomorrow before it gets exceedingly hot as it always does after a hurricane goes by. At least those kitties are doing some people good. Hey y’all! Cole what is the best bait casting reel that you have used? I am looking into getting one but money is rough! Nothing too expensive
Best reel I have and love using the most are my Shimano Curados. I usually buy them off EBay or FB marketplace for $140-$160. Best budget reel I have used is the Shimano SLX. They retail $100 new but you can usually find a lightly used one around $60! These are my personal preference but I'm sure there are others out there

I love your fishin vids but , being from Mn I cringe at the thought of eating anything caught out of a dead zone . even up hrer in the land of sky blue waters there are lots of people that die of really bad stuff after eating plants and meat and , well , anything that touches such .please be super carefull !

I would say don't use a setup you've had in the corner for 10 years without respooling the reel and oiling the reel lol. If no time or just don't want to do all that just pick up one of the good ones you've been using recently 😂. Line breaking and reel squealing isn't a good thing at all 😂 sucks.

Why are they draining the lake, if there going to do that, they need to take the live fish out and put them in another lake, or to someone that has a pond, I hate to see that

Drain lake build up better lake remove dirt float in fill lake dig out soil dirt move out dog deep holes at dam take dig out dirt refill it restock fish
