Can totally relate what she said! I have worked for TechM for 5 years for chat process and overall 8 years of experience in the bag however i had my friends in IT who were gaining rapid growth and i was stuck at very basic pay level and health was getting hampered due to continous rotational shift! I m only bcom graduate but kept asking 1000 questions to my friends in IT who advised me ! Did lot of TH-cam and google to check whats suits me the best! My advice to Al BpO and non IT people is to go with IT help desk(as similar bpo but with a IT tag) role for 6 -8 months and it the meanwhile find out what intrest u the most ! Trust me IT has lot of dynamics.. I have seen non IT people performing really well in cyber security field or any challenging field! Degree se jyada knowlegde matter karta hai! Just gain the knowledge certificate bad me bhi kar sakte hai!

I dont think it is mandatory to these expensive bootcamps, Just learn the languages separately, And apply rigorously, You will get there one day. All the best..

What all things in statistics can you explain well if I ask you at this point? Data foundations are based on Statistics & Business knowledge. Other things only bridge the gap between the two. Don't waste your time on choosing the "best" language. Only two languages are used in Data Science & Analytics: Python or R. Why Java is in the option I don't know but if your goal is Data Engineer then Java would be helpful.

But when I messaged her on linkedin, first she told that she will surely help me out in switching my career to data analyst. But after that one message, it doesn't matter how many times u text, she doesn't even bother to reply. Sir, please let me know which institute is good for knowledge and mostly placement for those who try to shift from Non - IT to Data Analyst. Because companies didn't hire without experience if you passout earlier.

Mai civil engineer hu, aur mujhe bhi 6 sal ka experience hai. But mai apne field me acha grow nahi kr paya. Isikiye mai bhi plan kiya ki IT switch karne ka . But road map nahi samjh aarha.

I am stuck in bpo from 8 years getting 40k per month but am not satisfied at all with the job.. i am so much interested in data analyst because in my company couple of guys make so stunning graphs and pie charts using tableau and excel.. i kept learning from youtube but i am afraid to switch my field.. am 32 years old, married have a baby girl recently.. am so depressed just because of this shitty bpo job.. please someone suggest what should i do.. i really appreciate helping me out

@technical suneja, My wife who is 48 years is looking to do this data analyst course and then join IT firm, is that possible? Pls guide we are desperately in need of good earning job.
If she is graduated and can grasp the skills which are required to become a data analyst, then she can get a job, age is just number I don't think people mind about age while hiring ,all they need is good skills and if 'she previously worked in any field and have experience then it's more advantage.
