If Korea wants to kill you with a intercontinental missile, they don't fail because use the correct math model for the Earth shape. But in your flat model you can travel 1 year in some direction (West is good?) and have a new home far, far away from the missile range, and you are safe. Is this , or as the Planet is spheric, at some time you enter Korea territory.
By the way, millions of aircraft and navy pilots achieve their target ports by their knowledge of navigation at earth surface spheric shape, and are millions of normal people, not part of any conspiracy.
