Mind you, I had mine up and running for about two months with very little and very inconsistent content. This little booger said, "well, I'm gonna wait until I have enough videos to post regularly, like weekly or something, I don't know, maybe wait until I have like 100 videos first." HE'S 7 YEARS OLD!! I felt like hiding under a rock, but couldn't stop being proud of him for knowing that! #proudglamma #lovemygrandson

finding a niche is so hard. figuring out what will get views has been a trial n error type a thing. you think getting 1000 subs n 4000 watch hours is gonna be a walk in the park...its not. you think people around u are gonna support u, some will, others wont. I've had to make peace with that n treat people accordingly.

Wow, I'm a newbie as well and straight up from the first point, I KNEW YOU WERE TALKING TO ME. Sometimes the ideas are there but if you do not plan them out or make a video right there and then, the motivation dies and it will not feel/be the same again. After watching this video, I GOT TO WORK. now, I have a planner and everything drafted out. It has also helped me at work because without planning, I was messing up things at work and wasting my time, trying to sort videos and all. Thank you....really!!!!

Hi, I have been using Davinci Resolve to edit my videos, it's free. I haven't really been doing anything fancy with it yet, just using it to cut out boring parts in my vids and I just recently learned how to add music too.
I have used iMovie on my MacBook Pro , iMovie on my iPhone and windows movie maker on a windows laptop. Usually when some content creators upgrade the next editing software is Final Cut Pro.

Your friends/family are bugging now is the PERFECT TIME. Actually anytime is , how is it too late to start a channel? This is why I always tell people to ignore the bad mind and be your biggest supporter. Don’t stump your growth or what you want to just because they said so. I totally feel you on posting videos then disappearing for a few months. I started my channel a little before the Pandemic but then found Instagram during the months following its creation. I then let Instagram be my main platform since I do photography, but ignored my TH-cam. I'm trying to fix that now, but I totally wish I stuck with both instead of picking one over the other. Glad to hear I'm not alone.

ItxShawna I try to talk like I’m talking to a close friend, that has actually kinda helped me in my next video I will be uploading. And try talking in the mirror lol I know it sounds weird but at least it’s a face to look at while talking. Try it and I hope it works for you as well!

Hi, I have been using Davinci Resolve to edit my videos, it's free. I haven't really been doing anything fancy with it yet, just using it to cut out boring parts in my vids and I just recently learned how to add music too.
I have used iMovie on my MacBook Pro , iMovie on my iPhone and windows movie maker on a windows laptop. Usually when some content creators upgrade the next editing software is Final Cut Pro.

I totally feel you on posting videos then disappearing for a few months. I started my channel a little before the Pandemic but then found Instagram during the months following its creation. I then let Instagram be my main platform since I do photography, but ignored my TH-cam. I'm trying to fix that now, but I totally wish I stuck with both instead of picking one over the other. Glad to hear I'm not alone.
