I'm from Florida, and I'm still wondering the same thing. 😂 I know northern Florida is the South, and southern Florida is definitely the north, but certain parts of central Florida are questionable.
As a central Floridian, it's all over the place. But I can safely say, the area where I live is more southern than others, and it kind of just dissapears the more south you get

Jai Alai (High Lie) is a game where players use a curved wicker racket that is about 2 1/2 feet long to catch a ball about the size of a baseball and then use it to hurl the ball against a wall inside of a three walled court. The game is a variation of the Basque game of pelota. It once was on TV all over the US but now is mostly confined to Florida and central and south American countries. The ball traves about 150 miles an hour. I loved watch the game on TV when I was a kid.
My mother is from Scotland she’s been in America since the 70’s. And she’s loved southern beer and whiskey and pretty much alcoholic beverages since lol she has 6 kids im the youngest . And I shared this video with her.
I'm from the city of Tampa ...and Jai Alai (pronounced like Hi Lie) is a sport popular in Latin countries. It would make one think a little of racquetball. I attended some matches as a child with my father and enjoyed the energy of it. Really fast and intense game. Haven't tried the beer, but it's cool they used some of the unique local stuff of Tampa in their advertising..
That was my first thought when I got introduced to it by family, and they pronounced it "Go-say" and I asked, "Is that it's real name or is it a reflection on the taste?" They didn't get it.

Lot of people take on the accent of where they live/move to. Just because his accent isnt super heavy means only that he has been to the states for a while. Not that he isnt scottish. My mother is from florida. My dad hates the accent, says it sounds like you are stupid. So she forced her accent to go away when they moved to arizona. However, real easy to get her back to her regular accent. Talk to anyone from the south and she switches without even realizing it.
@@shinko6342 I am from the South, but live in the North. I had to learn tone down my accent so people can understand me. When I go back home, I easily slip back into my true accent.
So the meaning of “tart” as being like the effect on the tongue of wild berries (for example) has completely disappeared in Britain? That makes me mad!
MMMMMmmmm.... Damnit! .. Now I want a Black and Red! I love me some Framboise mixed with a chocolate stout such as Guinness or even better Young's Double Chocolate Stout.😋. . Also goes well with various porters as well.

Loch Ness. In the Gaelic languages, "loch" means lake. Then there's Ness, on the banks of an extremely long and rather deep lake in Scotland. Hence, Loch Ness.
Only ever had the Texas one and the Purple Haze one out of the bunch, but Purple Haze is pretty damn good! Shiner may not be considered "craft beer" anymore since they have got so big, but the best beer in my opinion. Shiner Prickly Pear and Shiner Strawberry are the bomb, but will sneak up on you if not careful. Lol
