The dominated Oklahoma St. But States coach gets Big 12 coach of the year twice in the last 3 seasons. What’s up with that? Is Gundys wife making the choice?

Yeah, this current “system” was inherently faulty. We were just a hair from Texas beating OU and Georgia beating Alabama and then we’d have all 5 of Washington, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida State undefeated conference champions and 4 playoff slots. Then what?
You can’t have a system where it only works when things just happen to end up a certain way.

Florida State would be out - ACC weakest conference in the nation this year. Next out Texas - Big 12 barely above the ACC this year.

@@johndavidlatta8192 Well, there would still be a debate but my point is just that for all the "You can't leave an undefeated team out no matter what" arguments it was entirely plausible this year that we couldn't put all the undefeated teams in even if you were determined to. Having a "system" with 4 slots and 5 major conferences and just hoping it works out was always incredibly dumb.

If the committee didn’t believe FSU was worthy of a top 4 seed without Travis why didn’t they immediately drop them out of the top 4 when he got injured??

@@jf984d I’m not even an FSU fan, I’m just wondering what their reasoning is behind this approach. So go suck a dick with ur shit attitude

They let the games play out before making the final judgment on what were the best 4 teams. FSU had chances to prove that to the committee and came up short.

@@drm2364 i guess that was the case. But name another team that won their P5 conference title and then dropped a spot after being ranked in the top 4. I just think they should have dropped them earlier if they didn’t think they were a top 4 team. Either way I’m looking forward to the playoff and the real stupid idea was having 4 team playoff with 5 power conferences.

Maybe they needed to see what the backup QB played like. Some teams have great #2 QB's. Texas lost very little with Ewers out.
