Very accurate transcription, the recordings for a lot of these older tracks aren't exactly mixed to standard these days, so kudos for grabbing all the right triads in the correct positions. I did this one by ear a while ago and it was a pain in the ass lol
I appreciate it! Agreed, it's pretty tough picking out exactly what's being played on these earlier indie recordings. I managed to figure it out by listening to the song at 1/2 speed or slower, and watching Mana play it. Definitely requires a lot of patience.
Great job and play ! The effects are on point. I'd like to point out that the part around 2:47 is played half a tune higher in the most recent versions (I'd say starting from the Klaha version), in order to end up on a C (3:08), and not a B. That makes a better transition to the next G (3:12). Besides, Mana plays a little "classical-like" riff at the end, when the key goes higher to B. You can only hear it in the older versions, when they play that "sort of" fade out ending.
That's cool! I'm not familiar with those key changes though. I based this lesson off of the album version. There is a "classical" riff played at the end of song, like you mentioned. I've only heard that part played in earlier/live versions of the song. Not sure if it's Kozi or Mana who plays it though. I was tempted to tab that part out as well, but decided not to in order to keep things simple. I may include it in a future video. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! You're very close! It's a flanger, which is similar/related to phaser and chorus modulation effects. This time I'm using all virtual pedals from Logic Pro :-)
That would be great! I couldn't find it on Songsterr and U-G, when would it be expected? Will the link be in the description? I mean I have been looking for this song for yeaaaars ...
@@2PlayerSounds Yoo I am also interested in a TAB/midi if it is complete with the other tracks as well. I play the piano and it would really help to get a full view of the songs parts. You guys are awesome thanks for all the effort guys.
@S A I totally understand, as that is the same situation I was in for years. Could not find the tab or music sheet anywhere for this song, so I finally decided to do it the hard way and figure it out by ear and by watching Mana play. Thank you for your interest in this, we will definitely keep everyone posted on when the Guitar Pro file and other goodies will become available, as well as how to get access. Please stay tuned, Cheers! 🤘

Standard tuning for guitar (EADGBE). Use a Chorus effect and either overdrive or distortion channel on your amp. If you have a noise gate/suppressor to clean-up the tone, that's a plus. I used the built-in guitar pedals and amp patches in Logic Pro X for this video. Many different ways to achieve this sound. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, I noticed it mainly on the "Mana-sama plays de Memoire" video he did on his Moi-même-Moitié official channel. Some people will say it's wrong, but It's actually more comfortable (for me) to play the song that way.
@@2PlayerSounds That's interesting. I'd never thought about that but it makes sense that the patterns and style of music would be different from only using the three fingers. Sort of like Hendrix having his guitar upside down then not wanting to get a left-handed one even when he could afford it one. And I suppose that's a bit like Freddie Mercury being scared to go to the dentist because of it possible changing his singing voice.
That sounds about right! Little details make a big difference while playing, even down to the texture of the guitar pick you're using. It could also be a punk rock thing, since Mana started out being into punk in his early days and most punk players hardly use their pinky finger. He never let go of his roots 😄🤘

Finally ~ Is there any chance to get the Guitar Pro or Midi file?
We may release that in the future as bonus media/content, through some sort of "Patreon" format, for those who are interested.

What effect pedals are you using ?
It's the default Chorus and Delay pedal plugins from Logic Pro X.
How do i tune my amp and guitar?
great tutorial btw

Is this an electric guitar?
The one in the thumbnail? The white one that Mana plays is an ESP jeune fille.
