Two of my favorite people: Natalie Portman and Conan O'Brien! Where has this video been all of my life! I liked it and favorited it before even watching it!
she's just a very lucky girl who is very lucky to have those great opportunities knocking on her door and experience things others envy so much. the point is she persevere, worked so hard like everyone else. it is not about her being a graduate of Harvard or having a wealthy family around her. it is her perseverance, her personality, dedication and giving her best to her work that counts...she deserve what she's having now her success and all that.
Haha! Me and my husband were in Ireland on st Patrick's day and in the castle we stayed in we were the only ones wearing green. We felt pretty amazing!
I don't want to pick sides but you're absolutely right. just look at Happy Madison productions and how it's either a Kevin James movie, a Rob Schiender movie or a Sandler movie.
@CptFrenchFry Because most people are just passionate about Star Trek, and in Gene's case, passionate about telling a story with a military base to it. But both parties are just focused on human beings creating and enjoying a franchise such as Star Trek, they don't think about nerd-dom/nerd-culture, because it's an unnecessary classification.
I think the Star Wars haters are idiots. This is a series created by Lucas. It is his universe to mess with as he wants. If you don't want to watch, then fine, but quit crapping on the movies. Some of us can appreciate the whole series as it is given to us.
@RMosack I'm tired of seeing people dress up for shows. It's ridiculous to have them dress up. It shows that they're there to promote rather than to be genuinely interviewed. Natalie dressing the way she did, wasn't slob-like, if she dressed in a torn up shirt and her jeans were sweatpants then yeah, that would be dressing up like a slob. This is a casual look, and she's more beautiful than most female celebrities.
@occupynow, oh, and I forgot, hipsters also make attending indie festivals their life. And possibly majored in graphic design. (Again, this is the stereotype; I know plenty of graphic design or art majors who are definitely not hipsters. The majority of them aren't, actually; it's only the fringe that gives a bad name to the mainstream of graphic design.)
@occupynow I know what you're talking about. I mean, there are genuinely good indie films out there; the majority are garbage (even the "film festival" winners are sometimes cringe-inducing to watch, they're that bad) but occasionally one finds a gem if you know where to look. And I didn't misunderstand you; I knew what you were talking about. I was just anticipating the sort of response someone genuinely opposed to art or intellectualism would bring up.
she went to Harvard right? *drool* smart, cute, sweet and talented! ..... wait a second.... smart, cute sweet AND talented? ..... DANGER WILL ROBINSON! THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE! DANGER! DANGER!
What exactly is your point? In order to respect someone for their accomplishment they must have overcome such life adversity or had "connections" here and there to squeak in? Nope, couldn't just be pure talent and dedication. No actor/actress has that if they have a wealthy background...
@Packerd01 And your point? I consider myself a liberal on most issues but I love Ron Paul. Herman Cain not so much; the rest I don't know so much about. I may not agree with Paul on the more controversial matters, but most of the time I think he's right. The majority of American conservatism is just too damn anti-intellectual to make peace with the rest of the world and to take seriously. Look at Sarah Palin, George W., Ann Coulter--who could scarcely shame America more than they already have.
Do we really need a holy war on TH-cam? I'm pretty sure nothing has ever been solved in these comments sections. Maybe you could debate shampoo vs conditioner instead, you've a better chance at that...
@occupynow I agree with almost nothing you said there. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but are you implying that the majority of those in the arts are considered hipsters now? Even the most vocal critics of hipsters wouldn't say that. I do agree, though, that shunning the mainstream is pretty hipster. But implying the average American citizen is stupid is just a broad generalization. If that's the general impression you get from your day to day experience, then I do pity you.
@Muslim4Lyfe64 The Quran does have inconsistencies but the worst part are things like Sura 9:5. Muslims may be imperfect but the Quran is pretty far from perfect, too.
@RedTwiEyes Have you ever...even once left your home? As in gone outdoors? There are some VERY strange people out there...everywhere. She is not one of them.
Well none of the cast were Irish then Natalie if they didn't make a big deal out of Halloween considering it originated here and we make a very big deal of it!
you can tell she's really beautiful cause she looks awesome even in t-shirt and jeans
And that perfectly everyday outfit is why Natalie Portman is awesome.
She's so chill and beautiful GOD DAM !
Two of my favorite people: Natalie Portman and Conan O'Brien! Where has this video been all of my life! I liked it and favorited it before even watching it!
She's so awesome!
My first concert was Debbie Gibson, too. I especially like her Playboy appearance. I have so, so many fond memories of the Debster.

she's just a very lucky girl who is very lucky to have those great opportunities knocking on her door and experience things others envy so much. the point is she persevere, worked so hard like everyone else. it is not about her being a graduate of Harvard or having a wealthy family around her. it is her perseverance, her personality, dedication and giving her best to her work that counts...she deserve what she's having now her success and all that.

@CptFrenchFry

Letterman Nerds... Neeeeheoooo!!!
LOTR fan, no contest.
Omg Padme

And Conan. He's the man.
"whats that smell?" LOL!
Refreshing to see a woman dressed so casually on a show like this.
@RMosack I'm tired of seeing people dress up for shows. It's ridiculous to have them dress up. It shows that they're there to promote rather than to be genuinely interviewed. omgh shes TINY
For a quick second i thought she was wearing an Andre Nickatina shirt.
i almost shit myself!
@travelingcarpenter Truly was a fantastic and moving movie. Loved her in it, and was a perfect choice.
"if u went to a star wars convention those people would lose their minds."
i thought they already did.
@occupynow I know what you're talking about. I mean, there are genuinely good indie films out there; the majority are garbage (even the "film festival" winners are sometimes cringe-inducing to watch, they're that bad) but occasionally one finds a gem if you know where to look.

I've had girls play this game before, "think you could lie here next to me, no...no need to go further", but guess where it always goes too.
LOL Conan: I get "What's that smell?"
I was thinking she was tiny, but then I remembered that he's a freaking giant.
I MISS LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN!!!
hothothothothothothothothothothothot
she went to Harvard right? *drool* smart, cute, sweet and talented! ..... wait a second.... smart, cute sweet AND talented? ..... DANGER WILL ROBINSON! THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE! DANGER! DANGER!
Conan is really funny in this interview.
What exactly is your point? In order to respect someone for their accomplishment they must have overcome such life adversity or had "connections" here and there to squeak in? Nope, couldn't just be pure talent and dedication. No actor/actress has that if they have a wealthy background...
i want a hat that says "i am natalie portman"
lol star wars vs lotr: "there's only one return, and it aint of the king; its of the jedi!"
she is so fucking cute
Which year is this interview from?
@MxMagpie it was a casual show though, most guests wore everyday outfits
thats funny what she said about if she ever needs money she'd do a convention, thats pretty much what Lucas uses star wars for these days
@Packerd01 And your point? I consider myself a liberal on most issues but I love Ron Paul. Herman Cain not so much; the rest I don't know so much about. @finbomartini,
Watch Age of Innocence. You will be stunned by Wino's beauty. Also, she and Natalie need to be in another film together.
she farted at 1 minute and 25 seconds. thumbs up brah.
Do we really need a holy war on TH-cam? I'm pretty sure nothing has ever been solved in these comments sections. Maybe you could debate shampoo vs conditioner instead, you've a better chance at that...
Conan troll face @3:08 very yes.
@occupynow I agree with almost nothing you said there. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but are you implying that the majority of those in the arts are considered hipsters now? The name "Conan O'Brien" sounds like that of a wrestler but what do I know.
I always thought Bryant Gumbel was a televangelist.
I'd like to dock my canoe in Natalie's port, man.
@corsairyankee What? You know thats from a video Natalie did for SNL right? Natalie Portman Rap look it up. lol.
she got really dressed up
@wgrock why in the f*** is this the top rated comment? god damn the internet.
@Zares28 Plus she speaks about 3 or 4 different languages.
@Muslim4Lyfe64 The Quran does have inconsistencies but the worst part are things like Sura 9:5. Muslims may be imperfect but the Quran is pretty far from perfect, too.
V for Vendetta oh yeah.
@concussedcarneous Your memory has failed you, her role was not that big but it was very memorable

Well none of the cast were Irish then Natalie if they didn't make a big deal out of Halloween considering it originated here and we make a very big deal of it!
@sonofglove Keira Knightley played Natalie Portman's decoy in Phantom Menace.
