Thanks to Roy Smith he motivated me to get back into the hobby after a 30 plus year hiatus. I plan to be in Altoona for the September 2024 N Scale Weekend. It’s almost embarrassing to mention that I live about 3 miles from the Blair County Convention Center. I’m hoping to meet you, Roy, DJ, Todd, but I understand Roy is not well (have not heard an update in a while). You all have such incredible layouts and have done so much for the community! I am fired up about removing all my junk that accumulated in my layout area and finishing my benchwork.
I am glad to see that Roy has inspired someone else in this fine Community. I am planning on being there again this year for the event. I am hoping to do my layout tour of the show, as there are many to see at this show. I know I will be helping Todd Treaster for his open house Layout tour this year as well. That may mean less time for me at the show. If you get the chance to visit Todd's Layout, I highly recommend seeing his layout in person. Please feel free to introduce yourself to me at the show or Todd's layout. I greatly appreciate the kind comments and compliments. Stay safe out there and I am glad you N-joyed the video.

@@seanpacificrailroad3700 Sean, it's always nice to travel to the States. When I'm there, I get to go to train clubs, shows, and stores, none of which exist here in Panama. And I get to hang out with friends in the hobby. Here in Panama, I'm the only model railroader in the whole country, so far as I know. Yep, trips to the States sure are fun. ...Roy

Then while I was there, I got the opportunity to go see Todd Treaster's Layout. It was an amazing trip, and I won't forget anytime soon. Thanks for the comment and stay safe out there.
I am pretty sure that was one of the first things I said to Roy Smith as well. when I met him at my 2019 you tube meet and greet.. man you are tall.. and I am 6.4
