Loved the details and trueness to vintage flat track style. A bike styled like a Matchless G50 or a Velo Thruxton. All or at least 2 would be in my garage. A tuned and slightly enlarged engine would the frosting on the cake.
This seriously is one of the best customs I've seen. I love the idea of an adventure bike for travel but then after a few years custom it to something like this. Stunning example of great father son hobby style professional quality build
This a great job and it’s nice to see some one who’s not just a rich hipster on here who has bought a bike cause it’s trendy at the moment, proper builder and biker.

Beautiful bike credit to the builder's and the bike shed for the u tube videos so we can see what we can do to different types of every day motorcycles top job to all of you 😎👍
That is stunning in every way. What an awesome, simple, classic looking bike. Well done indeed. it's classy. I don't normally get bike envy but struggling to contain it right now....!!!!
Taking so much inspiration from this video, I've got a project Dominator in my garage and this gives me some idea of how it could look if I put the effort in
You've done a cracking job on that, you should be proud, beautiful paint job. I've been wanting to build one for years, it's on my to do list when I retire next year.
Not a real street tracker fan, but I do like this one. Heck I'd even ride it over to meet mom and dad. Lol. Yea this has back road fun written all over it.👍
@missing Link. They did. Early 80's, it was called the F/T-500. Unfortunately the early 80's found the motorcycle market looking for production class road racers. Another really cool one from that era was the G/B-500 Cafe. both used the 500c.c. single that became the 650c.c. featured here.
hmm, maybe..that engine is a lovely unit. Very smooth. I used to own an original NX650 but seeing projects such as this really makes me want to do something similar to the one featured in this vid.
That is fabulous! Really excellent work guys. I’m picking up my 96 Dominator this weekend!! Going to trail it across Europe. Need to blow away the Covid cobwebs....
I just cant understand why not even one motorcycle manufacturing company wont mass produce a street legal flat tracker WTF SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT THEY'LL HAVE NO PROBLEM SELLING THEM !!! Sweet bike !! when I raced motocross hondas were all I would race ! 87 CR-500 #307
i think his exh is a little too 'loose' of a can. he certainly loose a few ponies in the low and mid...but with his short gearing he cant notice it and again maybe the guy really wanted that empty can sound
c0rpse1 spot on! I was chatting to dan who films it for an hour before, turn the camera on and I couldn’t get my words out or think what I needed to say 🙈
Your welcome Sam,in the middle of a Bonnie T100 project,I hope I get the combination of changes, half as good as You & Your Old Man have!! We'll done,Steve..😎
There's literally not one thing I dislike about this bike and that's strange for me. Especially love the twin shock conversion. Well done!
Maybe the farty exhaust. I have had plenty of thumpers that had a nicer ring to them, but I guess that is just my personal preference

Headlight...2 x LSK ones would look nicer, very high quality too!

" a really nice bike"..........you have a gift of understatement.........it is drop dead gorgeous
This a great job and it’s nice to see some one who’s not just a rich hipster on here who has bought a bike cause it’s trendy at the moment, proper builder and biker.
Great looker. I rode number 87 in canada in the 70s. Now 80 yrs still riding
One of the most beautiful builds featured on Bike Shed. Good enough for Honda to use as a base to a new production model! :)
Wrong.
Honda's are LOW rev engines.
Its designed to not spin the rear wheel.

Breathing fresh life into an unloved bike, brilliant work

Amazing bike. From what you started with to what you've done it's beautiful.
definitely one of my fav bike builds I've seen here. Great job and best regards to your old man
Always loved the street tracker style, very nicely done.
Real nice tracker,👍,heading down to London from Edinburgh this weekend for a gig, and the bike shed is on my list, can't wait✌️
Well went to bike shed today with my son and daughter, had something to eat, great place, real cool vibe, and bought a t shirt, loved it, great job,
The engine sounds very clean, no rattle, I like that!
Fantastic job, love the bike looks like a museum piece
Total transformations on this one. Thanks for sharing Sam!
The piston to connection rod RATIO dictates what the bike can do.
It wasn't transformed.
@@dreyn7780 hmmm
That is the best dominator conversion I've seen so far! Top job!

Honda's are designed to never wheel spin going around corners.
The engine revs are so low, they grip the track and can't wheel spin.
Great job - Father & son, what a talented pair!
Top of the day CHAMP. GREAT JOB, BEAUTIFUL BIKE. PEACE
That's a cracking bike! Looks great, sounds great.
Gorgeous mate, absolutely gorgeous.....👍👍👍😵

That tank is amazing. Nice bike.
Simple and beautiful
Great Build!. A Supertrap exhaust with 12 discs would make her breath even better and sound better with the right amount of back pressure.
i think his exh is a little too 'loose' of a can. he certainly loose a few ponies in the low and mid...but with his short gearing he cant notice it and again maybe the guy really wanted that empty can sound
Well done build 😍
Great hard work pays off pal. Nice 👍
Beautiful Bike!
Toll umgesetzt ! gute Arbeit.
Looks 100x better than the factory bike
Best yet!!!
If you gain a tooth on the front and lose a couple on the back then it will have a higher top speed and less acceleration, not the other way around.
My thoughts exactly
im sure he was just nervous and mixed them up
c0rpse1 spot on! I was chatting to dan who films it for an hour before, turn the camera on and I couldn’t get my words out or think what I needed to say 🙈

Perfect. Well done.
Great video! Thanks for posting. I'd love to see that bike on the track. Racing it once (or twice :) ) might make it's history even cooler.

Sweet ride & a quality build =))
Great looking bike that 👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice work.
Very nice this does really appeal and so many people use those CG125 tanks.
Very impressive!
Cool bike, Sam.
I've got news for you, taller gearing (as described in the video) sacrifices acceleration and gains top speed :-P
Honda's are LOW rev engines.
LOW rev's means great corner traction.
Very nice,I like it
