Carrot in a box is still one of the best things I've ever seen
@@shannonwilliamson7836 100%. makes me laugh every time. That and joes poem are champagne comedy.
Sean's carrot in the box might be the greatest bluff I have ever seen
mate I can't stop laughing at this... half my drink is spat across my monitor PMSL !!!!!
Truly great! It rivals Claudia Winkleman and the turtle, on WILTY
i agree . . pure tv gold
Excluding politicians
@@vicious76 why do so many people keep saying 'they spat their drink' on their whatever, when this NEVER actually happens? You sound dumb and immature because you obviously are not satisfied with real life, trying to be 'cooler' than you are.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: only Sean Lock could have made Carrot in a Box funny. He single handily saved that entire bit.
Edit: Damn. RIP Sean you magnificent bastard. Fuck cancer.
or he took a bit written for the show and delivered beautifully by Jimmy and ran with it - played Jon perfectly!
I agree but it wouldnt have worked without the other two either
Michael Thorn ww
That's part was good. But he is one of the worst comedians I have ever seen.
Since John beats him nearly every time, it is proof that Sean is a different kind of smarter than John. XD
Aisling’s crying during the Pindrop story makes it perfect
she has a huge crush on acaster
@@polares8187 we all do
Watching the clips I started crushing on Jon, then of course Sean .... Now it's James Acaster ... I can't get enough of him 🤣
James is a huge gay crush
It wasn’t funny the first time, and he just kept on going..
The carrot in a box thing just shows how insanely quick Sean Lock is.
The carrot in a box gig is one of the funniest things I've ever seen or heard
ikr. It's a shame they didn't include the start of it (the best bluff) to put it in context, AND then they chopped it up to ruin the flow.
@@VideoNozoki they've used that clip on so many of these videos, if they included the whole thing it would take half the video length. So 50% of their entire uploads would be carrot in the box
agreed. that was sheer genius on the part of sean locke
@@peeeepthis But that's what we want. Give us what we want E4!!
Laura Rickard there is an entire video of it
That completely bonkers conversations about the aubergines and potatoes and Jedward's and then Greg's LSD comment is sooo funny. And the Pindrop guy is hilarious.
Pindrop guy is James Acaster. he has comedy specials on Netflix. Check them out!
@@SonoBryce Thank you. I shall do.
If you love this type of comedy that’s completely random and bonkers I reckon you’d love the tv show taskmaster
James Acaster. Funniest comedian with a British accent.
James Acaster is brilliant, check out his Would I Lie to You clips
Carrot in a box is still one of the best things I've ever seen
I’m seriously wanting to play carrot in a box with my friends
I love Sean's reaction, imaginary moustache and all
666 👍, Satan agrees. 😂
The bit where they're teasing Jon (about 10:30) about their nights out etc, that he is not invited to is like a trifecta of the most perfect riffing off of each other. Sean, Joe and Jimmy.
Actual mastery
It's crazy how Sean turned carrot in a box from a silly boring little bit into possibly the greatest moment in 8 out of 10 cats history
Sean Lock is the only comedian I've seen make Jimmy cry
Joe Wilkinson did it once on Countdown with a poem about naming strangers penises in a train station bathroom.
@@howsjames1 I call him captain Birdseye
@@howsjames1 your name, ever been to ISIS controlled territory in the Middle East?
@@fitzfitzchivalry4538 I don't think ISIS have killed more than the 2 million who were killed as a result of the ideological war in Iraq that can be accurately described as terrorism.
Even so, the extreme right claim that ISIS is a threat to our lives and yet they do indeed kill more than ISIS do in Western states.
Joe did it with the scotch egg story
the pin drop story is ageless XD
I love how quickly Joe , Sean , and Jimmy pretended they went out often without Jon to bother him. Perfect in-sync comedic timing
Sean's description of a "traditional" Christmas is so ridiculous 😂
But now I feel sad that I haven't been doing it this way all along....
"Jimmy's plowing on" gets me every time
Aisling laughing at James Acasters story is the loveliest thing I have ever heard, brilliant stuff....
The seriousness on Joe's face when he says he downed the curry sauce is class 😂🤣
Aisling had a bit of a mild breakdown during the Pindrop story.
James Acaster is a master storyteller.
Idk it wasnt funny though
@@mottomotto1923 - It was the way he told it that was funny.
@@jpaxonreyes but its not
@@mottomotto1923 - To you.
Shocking bad story about the band.
At first glance I genuinely thought Anne was Noel Fielding😂
Emma SAME
Carrot in the box... man, pay attention kids. THAT is bluffing. Absolutely masterful.
Showing “Carrot in a Box” every Christmas should be a thing. Sean is a genius.
BK MUR I kinda like the 2-parter and leaving it as is. The first one Jon learned his lesson that he shouldn’t underestimate the sadistic Sean, and the second one got Jon to way overthink himself and fail in his chance at redemption. I like leaving it at that. Once it’s shown every year it loses its’ specialness
*was
Christman tradition: round of carrot in a box, followed by sitting round the fire and reading The Tiger Who Came For a Pint and finishing it all off with a nice glass of bin water.
Watching Aisling die of laughter was so cute. Also Sean is the best human being ever 😂
Finally, you've shown one of the most brilliant moments of 8 out of 10 cats when Sean pulled that stunt on Jon.
carrot in a box is probably the pinnacle of panel show genius
"Lloyd..."
Aisling crying about James's story is one of the best things I've seen
The carrot in the box is funny he had the audience, people at home and everybody fooled until the reveal haha
To be fair to Jon, if I was put on the spot and told to complement Rachel Riley, I'd be shitting myself.
The most well-adorned moustache-twirl in all of television history...
At 8:25 Sean accurately predicted the government's policy for the elderly in 2020
Sean is incredibly clever, easily one of my all time favourite comedians, the carrot in the box bluff was brilliant.
Sean Lock to Jon Richardson: "You fool! You've fallen victim to one of the classic blunders."
That carrot in a box is legendary
Joe Wilkinson wearing the tie he used in the prize round of Taskmaster just made both shows 100 times more wonderful to me. Random thing to notice but happy I did xx
Genuinely impressed with Sean’s acting
@2:22 Greg Devies expression , he really think he is trippin' lol
I thought 2020 couldn't get any worse and then this sodding clip reminds me of the existence of Jedward. Thanks a LOT...
Carrot in a box, funny then and funny now. Absolutely class
That story James Acaster tells about his band is quality 😂😂😂.
Aisling’s laughing at James’ story makes that clip
"That's all you can fit in" is pure comedy gold
I love James' 'pindrop' story so much!
Sean‘s double bluff is ingenious!
8:25 Sean is a visionary
roisin crying at 5:38 has me LOSING it lmaooo
Joe Wilkinson's comedy is so in depth. He's a comedic genius.
You go on without me, I'll come on later..
Carrot in a box...classic game.
The (very well known) James Acaster bit about PinDrop at 3:34 . I know it's him you came here for!
very very overrated
I mean I like James Acaster but ,while that story was decently funny, he's told much better stories. Pretty much every other segment save for Johnny Vegas's rant was better imo
The only "funny" thing is that something is happening three times. Pretty lame story I know.
Or Carrot in a Box.
Ryan Acaster is the funniest comedian in England
The pindrop story will never stop making me laugh
Sean Locke. Absolutely brilliant. Genius!
James 🥰
Rob got caught in an unexpected gale.
That peppa pig lunch bag was awesome! It's totally what i'd pack.
It’s not the same without Sean and Jon 😢
Nate Beats sean*
Petition to make carrot in a box a permanent game show
Still waiting for the day Lloyd shows up on a "This is my..." segment on Would I Lie to You with James 🤣
The work do's joke without inviting Jon is perfection
"Do you know why I only take 17 though? cause thats all you can fit in" fucking genius
Is it?
11:11 - What the hell happened to Rob Beckett's hair?!
right its more distracting than his fucking teeth and that's saying something
He was attempting a Chris Ramsey.
Sean loves Joe's sense of humour and you can't blame him
Lloyd was the star of the show. All hail Lloyd & that carrot 🙌🏻
Carrot in a box, lmao..
Sean Lock legend move! Ab-so-lute legend!
1:33 da vinky??
James' long story is at 3:33
"Then I downed a jar of Lloyd Grossman's Bhuna Curry Sauce"
Rachel and Jon make such a pair... I'd be the same as Jon, on the spot, with such a beautiful woman sitting next to me, I'd crumble too. And she took it like a champ and turned it around.
This show is just great. :)
Anyone else kind of sad that Jon & Rachel never ended up together?
Joe is hilarious
Suddenly......a wild Hasselhoff appears
I read your comment, found the Hoff and was immediately saddened by the fact that it didn't have a willy story...
Gold!
bhuna curry sauce 😭😭
The moustache twirl kills me
For some reason Rob always reminds me of Suigetsu. oO
11:17 adorable
*As an American I can honestly say that the Brit’s sense of humor is absolutely EPIC and should be exported to the US! We desperately need to laugh these days... Thank you!* 😂👏🏻😂
I’m very simple,
I see James Acaster, I click
when is this shite type of comment going to fucking die.
@@mick9708 soon, I hope.
And here, in the youtube comments section, we see, two very different animals, interacting, for the first, time. The young naive, millennial memer, puts out a taste of one his/her/their most common internet phrases. But unbeknownst to them, a grizzled, old, alcoholic, meninist, on one of the many weekends where he’s not allowed to see the kids, has a go.
We, must, endeavour, to preserve, this, precious, habitat.
@@weavehole I accept grizzled and alcoholic but I don't have kids. I'm also a millenial myself.
:D
Good squirt this year!
Joe is a legend
Holy shit, Sean Lock is one of the funniest and wittiest guys on the fucking planet. The Carrot in the Box bit is absolute genius.
Is there any footage of James' band playing?
The Chicken Nugget of Fate there is some I think
Omg Johnny Vegas 😂 LMAO
James Pindrop story was fucking hilarious
Sean absolutely finessed that carrot game
please have Lloyd as a guest!!!!please 🙏🏽
Who else will be playing spud you live this year?
the carrot in the box scene will never not make me cry laughing
2:16
Thats what one braincell divided between 2 oxygen thieves looks like.
Was that David Hasselhoff in the last scene???
Ffs I’m in bits over that collective noun 😂😂
I came here for the Jon Richardson scenes.
Why did I start brushing my teeth when James Acaster went on about the Pin Drop story
JM Music I mean you would’ve had to spit out the toothpaste at some point. In a way, James was helping you brush your teeth more expediently.
Why do jedward look like christmas trees
Natalie Smith They're related.
I kno, I was just sayin they look like christmas trees
it was a Christmas special, same reason Sean was telling about his traditional Christmas activities
@@michaellejeune7715 well they are twins
In the hope someone would throw them in a council skip sometime in early January.
I am never gonna be able to see that first ghost from disneys animated Christmas carol with Jim Carrey without seeing jedward now.....
thats really gonna hold you back
The story about Lloyd the singer is brilliant
Fucken Lloyd....now I'm worried.
..and he's still in the band till this day..
I just learned about scotch eggs...they look frakin amazing.
Really moorish.
look like sponges?
I don't know what it is about James Acaster's story, it's actually not that funny and yet, I find it really funny
It is 100% the delivery.
The story is okay, but the way he brings it just knocks it out of the park.
