Dehradun is just like Haldwani.. Garhwali settles mostly in DDN and Kumaoni settles mostly in Haldwani after a certain period of time because u get both metro and village lifestyle in these 2 cities.. Both cities Re most important for UK's development financiall..

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I have been living in Delhi for last 35 years but before that during my childhood I was in Dehradun. Dehradun's weather and climate is beautiful but now Dehradun is extremely crowded.and conjusted. Whenever I visit to Dehradun I really miss that peaceful Dehradun where I spent my childhood. After becoming Uttrakhand's capital Dehradun has lost its charm ,now it is a mere commercial city like any other city.

Dehradun is good city for retired people. Has peaceful & contended lifestyle & one can live without hassles. For young generation either you have to have a job here or for business you need to first do study of the city which kind of business has opportunity. It's definitely an upcoming city which will grow in future.
Dehradun was a wonderful place before uttarakhand came into inception...but now it's overcrowded...and has become like other cities...trees have been chopped down...concrete jungles have come up...lot of pollution...peace has gone somewhere...

You are 60% right about your information. Need to study well about dehradun One more thing you forgot to mention that those who are living in dehradun since ages doesn’t like this beautiful city as capital just because of so called Vikas. Deforestation taking place crime rates going higher etc etc
I have studied in Dehradun for 3 years and made loads of memories (2011-2014). Then it was different. It was great in terms of weather, people, peace .. but recently I do have to accept almost all things mentioned in video

You hv studied well to present Delhi. This fault pertains to people who came and settled in Delhi from other parts of country. During road accident no body helps bcz you didn't help to others. During my childhood I remember all were of same level and were helpful.

Healthcare is worst in Dehradun. Mostly all pvt hospitals charging very high fee. I have been regularly visiting Doon since 1990 it was good at that time . Now lot of traffic , pollution around ghantaghar. It is a charm only fr few days . And u rightly said job opportunities almost nil .

Not wise to settle in Dehradun. It is now overcrowded, worst traffic and exorbitant property rates. The most important is that as explained in this video that Rajpur, Rajpur Road and Sahastradhara Road are facing big water problem. In colonies like Panache Valley, there is acute water shortage in summmers and water tankers are frequently needer. This city was good upto 1990, but it has become a city with many problems to live and survive. It is now not even safe for elderly couples/people. Moreover, the city doesn't have places worth to see except one or two.

U want cheap go to first gear cafe, u want expensive but excelent decor go to bunglow, u want best food go to azure or the speeso, or i can go to maldevta farms which is riverside farm with gr8 moutain view ,open ground with gr8 resturant And there r expensive cafes and less expensive to cheap cafes too, yes massurie is way too expensive than dehradun specially massurie mall road. देवभूमि मंहगी तो होनी ही चाहिए। रिक्शा वाले ने परिवार चलाना होता है।20 रुपए में जाने से अच्छा कसरत ठीक रहेगी। 10रुपये तो न्यूनतम किराया है देश में,वो भी बड़ी गाड़ियों में।😢बाकी खाद्य पदार्थ के रेट इंटरनेशनल नहीं तो नेशनल तो होते ही है। यही बात रूम रेंट की तो स्थान पर निर्भर करता है।❤
I completely agree with your observation on socialization issues; People don't interact with other peoples. As a Garhwali born in Haryana, I've noticed that the people in Haryana are straightforward yet remarkably helpful. However, the people of here are totally different. One main reason could be ; a most number of people are retired from the government jobs, and they enjoy their life being with thereself, which is understandable.. You can find first week good here, but beyond that, you might find this city strange. If you're a private sector employee considering relocating to Dehradun, I would strongly advise against it. Harsh but accepted !

Got shifted from Delhi , i born brought up in Delhi but now completely shifted with my family in Dehradoon and planning to build our hostels in Srinagar Uttarakhand hnbgu nearby we invested . Trust me Uttarakhand is gonna be so profitable in coming days . Dehradoon has traffic issues but soon we are shifting to Srinagar uttrakhand. Grateful that still we have a lot of business opportunities here to thrive like anything . Bbie delhi forever . Uttarakhand has my heart ❤❤❤

You are true about survival which is very tough in dehradun like always... But yes Haridwar has its Sidcul industrial area having engineering jobs apart from tourism city....and yes Rishikesh is a complete religion and tourism place... Mussorie is nearby beautiful hill station which is now always crowded... And apart from rajpur...sahastradhara...there is Maldevta...Raipur...thano....etc which have their own charm... And yes good work done bro
My case is different i was born here my father was also born here in dehradun my grandma's family were literally born and living in haridwar since ages and still I face racism because not having a pahadi origin 😞 sad reality all they need is hate but I know god is watching ghamand to ravan ka bhi nahi rha

Sab apni chamta ke hisab se kaam karte hain and jo unke pass hota hai usme khush ho kar aage badhte hain. Job ho ya business sab life ka hissa hai. Metropolitan cities ke apne fayde nuksan hai. Jeb mein paisa hona bahut achi baat hai but sukoon hona bhi zaruri hai. Healthy lifestyle bhi matter karta hai.
according to me best place to live here is banjarawala to doodhli iske beech me best h surronded by jungle h (raja ji national park) isbt 5km railway station 5 km airport 16 km rispana 2 km clocktower 6 km rajpur considered as posh area but only that part which is near highway otherwise on outer parts its good for whether only nothing else
I have lived 10 years in bangalore and almost 18 years in dehradun. The weather is not comparable. It is super hot and cold in doon while bangalore it stays same all around the year!

Dehradun only good is whether otherwise worst no roads, no market, no good institute, no basic amenities, no good hospital one private hospital which is worst inly charges are very good but not at all specialization in doctors, rents are very higher side, not a foody place,transport system worst. I'm an Uttarakhandi. Don't settle in Dehradun but visit as a tourist. With upcoming Delhi Dehradun expressway, it will be easy to cover entire distance within 2.5 hrs.

For eg, if i go to a medical store in delhi ncr and ask for a medicine for sore throat, they made me one for Rs. 20-30 but in Dehradun, i did this twice and he made the medicine worth RS. 120 😂 Everyone here wants to earn from you as much as possible.

Kumar sweets mango shakes and kulfi .I was the best player in cricket in grd school on old Mussoorie road in1995
My last movie was baazigar for which me and my friends got thrashed by luther sir of grd❤. Those were my golden period of my life . When we used to go for swimming in aganta hotel on rajpur road

So simple you convey the things. Now, the thing that I want to know is Internet. Internet is like food for me as I am working from home. Is there non interrupted internet in area around or in Pacific. Same for electricity. Initially we will move on rent and gradually will buy flat or property.

Dehradun main pollution free hai, jyadatar imported gaadi kam hoti hai aur jyadatar cab, sharing auto, motorcycle aur garhwal jaane ki maxx gaadi hai. Dehradun main weather bahut achha hai kyunki neither hot nor cold weather. Hum log 40 saal main delhi main rehta they kyunki delhi main pollution, uncomfortable, croudy hai aur jyadatar imported gaadi hoti hai. Phir hum log raat ko gaon jaate hai aur subah gaon se delhi jaate hai. Delhi to sabse risky jyada hai.
Dehradun is a hub of education and defence academy is one of the best. If u really want to earn more then either business or work as a freelancer. Dehradun is basically for people who want to seek good education first than they can decide their fate. But specially if u r coming to work with low wages or salary then it may not not be that comfortable. But survival is ok. Not so good not so bad.

Your information is quite right. I originally belong to Dehradun but for last 30 years I have been staying in Delhi. Earlier it was very beautiful city but now it is crowded like any other city , it still has clean air. Rajpur road and Shast dhara road is nice place to live but in my opinion only for retired people.

All in all it was a nice video but as you mentioned if there is any flaw or shortcomings then I would like to mention one and that is Dehradun has mosquitoes allover and since I first time visited DDun back in early 70's they are found everywhere in DDun and for your kind information my birthplace is Mussoorie and we settled here in 1978 ! And as I mentioned earlier this video was worthwatching and would like to see further to your upcoming videos !!! 👍😊

I grew up in lucknow in the eighties when goondagardhi was a big thing. Now with globalisation goondagardhi has receded into the background in the cities. It is no longer cool to be a goonda like in the past.

Dehradun's weather and climate is beautiful but now Dehradun is extremely crowded.and conjusted. Whenever I visit to Dehradun I really miss that peaceful Dehradun where I spent my childhood. After becoming Uttrakhand's capital Dehradun has lost its charm ,now it is a mere commercial city like any other city.

Healthcare is worst in Dehradun. Mostly all pvt hospitals charging very high fee. I have been regularly visiting Doon since 1990 it was good at that time . Now lot of traffic , pollution around ghantaghar. It is a charm only fr few days . And u rightly said job opportunities almost nil .

Not wise to settle in Dehradun. It is now overcrowded, worst traffic and exorbitant property rates. The most important is that as explained in this video that Rajpur, Rajpur Road and Sahastradhara Road are facing big water problem. In colonies like Panache Valley, there is acute water shortage in summmers and water tankers are frequently needer. This city was good upto 1990, but it has become a city with many problems to live and survive. It is now not even safe for elderly couples/people. Moreover, the city doesn't have places worth to see except one or two.

I completely agree with your observation on socialization issues; People don't interact with other peoples. As a Garhwali born in Haryana, I've noticed that the people in Haryana are straightforward yet remarkably helpful. However, the people of here are totally different. One main reason could be ; a most number of people are retired from the government jobs, and they enjoy their life being with thereself, which is understandable.. You can find first week good here, but beyond that, you might find this city strange.
If you're a private sector employee considering relocating to Dehradun, I would strongly advise against it.

Sab apni chamta ke hisab se kaam karte hain and jo unke pass hota hai usme khush ho kar aage badhte hain. Job ho ya business sab life ka hissa hai. Metropolitan cities ke apne fayde nuksan hai. Jeb mein paisa hona bahut achi baat hai but sukoon hona bhi zaruri hai. Healthy lifestyle bhi matter karta hai.

Dehradun only good is whether otherwise worst no roads, no market, no good institute, no basic amenities, no good hospital one private hospital which is worst inly charges are very good but not at all specialization in doctors, rents are very higher side, not a foody place,transport system worst. For eg, if i go to a medical store in delhi ncr and ask for a medicine for sore throat, they made me one for Rs. 20-30 but in Dehradun, i did this twice and he made the medicine worth RS. 120 😂

Kumar sweets mango shakes and kulfi .I was the best player in cricket in grd school on old Mussoorie road in1995

Good to hear the details. We are planning to shift to Dehradoon. I am working from home, so I do not have any issue with the income. I liked and appreciate your videos without any taam jhaam. So simple you convey the things.
Now, the thing that I want to know is Internet. Internet is like food for me as I am working from home. Is there non interrupted internet in area around or in Pacific. Same for electricity.
Initially we will move on rent and gradually will buy flat or property.

Dehradun sabse nice city hai bilkul Chandigarh jaisa sahar hai. Kyunki dehradun main garhwal jaane main easy hoga aur risky nahin hai. Dehradun main pollution free hai, jyadatar imported gaadi kam hoti hai aur jyadatar cab, sharing auto, motorcycle aur garhwal jaane ki maxx gaadi hai. Dehradun main weather bahut achha hai kyunki neither hot nor cold weather. Hum log 40 saal main delhi main rehta they kyunki delhi main pollution, uncomfortable, croudy hai aur jyadatar imported gaadi hoti hai. Phir hum log raat ko gaon jaate hai aur subah gaon se delhi jaate hai. Delhi to sabse risky jyada hai.

Dehradun is a hub of education and defence academy is one of the best. If u really want to earn more then either business or work as a freelancer. Dehradun is basically for people who want to seek good education first than they can decide their fate. But specially if u r coming to work with low wages or salary then it may not not be that comfortable. But survival is ok. Not so good not so bad.

Now a days Dehradun is not a city to live in due to high cost of living, high land & property cost , traffic congestion, densely population & poor medical facilities etc

Your information is quite right. I originally belong to Dehradun but for last 30 years I have been staying in Delhi. Earlier it was very beautiful city but now it is crowded like any other city , it still has clean air. Rajpur road and Shast dhara road is nice place to live but in my opinion only for retired people.

All in all it was a nice video but as you mentioned if there is any flaw or shortcomings then I would like to mention one and that is Dehradun has mosquitoes allover and since I first time visited DDun back in early 70's they are found everywhere in DDun and for your kind information my birthplace is Mussoorie and we settled here in 1978 !
