How I wish our churches would sing these old hymns based on
Scripture. How I miss them
American missionaries brought the word of God in our land in the North eastern part of India Nagaland(1847) and it changed everything from a headhunter tribe to 98% Christian state living in peace and harmony with each other🙏🏼

Being able to listen and sing along is such a blessing. These old hymns never grow old. But I was just thinking that all of us as children of God, we don't have to spend money all the time or have to have something to make us happy. We already have the best kind of joy there is and that is Christ Jesus! But for those who don't believe, they usually need something like alcohol, drugs, something from the "outside" to be happy and it ends! But we have an "eternal" joy 24 hours a day!! Praise the Lord!!!!!

However my findings are that convincing of anything in life usually requires being honest with oneself (including finding an 'Eternal God' etc..) Truth is and should be a very personal thing, privately testing your own conscience is the recommended procedure!
