I think you're wrong about the max power of the bike. it said there that its only 65kw but in reality its actually 81-82kw... My bike have dyno run and it surpass 100hp, and my bike is not even synchronize.
Hi I'm Japanese. I guess this is a model for the domestic market. That's why they said so. and also in those days there's a regulation that indicated power must be less than 100ps or so. You could've got more power like exported models easily as doing light-tuning.
My F-5s are rated 110bhp. Now, I know it's a long time ago, BUT, Mr. Honda, Why did you discontinue this model (CB600F4/5/6/7)?? It is probably the best Honda all-round bike (certainly in UK).? And the CB900F-2->6 are probably the best looking bikes out there. Why? Secondly, Mr. Honda. Why did you change the CB600F-6 to that horrible 2007 design? What an ugly bike you presented in 2007.... and all "Hornet"s 2007->2022 are the ugliest of all motorcycles (I'd rather a Yamaha/Kawasaki/Triumph-not really- rather than a Honda CB600F-7 ->). And what is this Hornet 750 thing??????? !!!! It's NOT a Hornet (well, truth be told, I don't think the 2007-> CB600Fs are "Hornets" either!) Mr. Honda. You had great, great bikes that were most affordable and very, very well presented - Mr. Honda, I think you screwed it up with 1) discontinuing the CB900F-5/6/7 and destroying the CB600F-5/6 design. Your build quality on the 2007-> series of the 600 is inferior. I guess it's all about the almighty $$$$$$$$, not customer loyalty.
自分はこのバイクの所有者だけど、今まで10年以上乗っていました。
設計面としてフロントのほうはタコメーターで照明が丸いランプに古典的デザインや、リアのほうはセンターアップのマフラーで侵略的にデザインを作ってられたことは絶妙だと思います。現在でも外見を見れば決して時代遅れではありません。
エンジンのメガリズム音がいいです。アクセルを煽って、吸気ポートと共にオン、オン、オンの音が出てまるで名前の通り、スズメバチのような羽振り音が出るのは本当に楽しかったです。
性能面に追いかけてではなく、
いいバランスが取ったバイクと思います。いいバイクです。
私も過去に乗っていました。
今更ですが、手放したことを後悔しています。
最高のツーリングバイクです。
全く同じモデルのオーナーです。400スーフォア並みの車重に900RRエンジンの組み合わせは刺激的です。取り回しも良好。太いタイヤのおかげでコーナーリングも楽しいです。何故売れなかったのか不思議でならない……。

250を見慣れた後に900を見るとやっぱゴツくて圧倒されますね。しかしどっちもいいバイク!
