What's your favorite APS-C AF lens for Sony E?
#Sonyeapsc #Sonyeapsclenses #bestapscsonylens
Tamron 17-70MM. It never leaves my A6600, and soon it will never leave my A6700.
I think 18-50 mm sigma small and compact! Now i use 16mm sigma not happy!
Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 my favorite
Thanks for the great info!
Great video, tons of lens recomendations, all great. Thanks!!!
Thanks mate)) stay tuned 😎
This best value Sony aps-c lens video is refreshing and exactly what I was looking for!
Welcome mate)) stay tuned)
I really wish they would make new native mirrorless version of the 18-35 f1.8 and the 55-100 f1.8 for Sony E
الفيديو جاء في وقته المناسب ✔️👌🏽
Great video!
Thanks))
excellent. Thank you.
Welcome, stay tuned)
Great! Thanx from bavaria
Thanks mate) stay tuned 😉
I bought tamron 17 70 2.8 with this camera, I hope this duo will works well
Same, just ordered them both yesterday, hope they come in clutch. Did a lot of homework
I am in the market for a fast 35mm-ish equivalent prime lens at the moment. Sadly I am not in love with the Sigma 23mm. It's a strong performer in terms of optics but god damn did they cheap out on features and - honestly - looks. It just doesn't look good. Also why would they change the filter diameter from 55mm to 52mm?! I am unable to use all of the 55mm filters I own now.
Gonna wait for the Viltrox 27mm 1.2 E-mount version to be released. It is big and heavy, but I can live with that considering it is just as sharp, has an aperture ring, is moisture and dust resistant (the Sigma isn't), gathers more light, I can use my 67mm filters on it AND it does actually look quite nice :) And all of that for just about a 100 bucks more! Only draw back is likely gonna be AF, but I don't plan on shooting sports with it.
Hurry up, Viltrox!
It seems like the viltrox is the best option for apsc cameras in this focal lengths (at least for photography).
The Tamron 17-70 does not have a switch to turn off the image stabilization. The A6700 doesn't seem to have a menu item to turn the lens image stabilization on or off, and in at least one review the lens image stabilization did not work well with the IBIS. Is there a way to turn it on and off? Does the lens stabilization work with the IBIS on the A6700? Does it work better with other Sony camera bodies such as the A7 or A7R?
Unfortunately no… you either turn on both the ibis and the lens stabilization on, or turn both off
Do the A7 and A7r have the same limitation?
Wow important detail, so no Tamron for me
would you recommend the sony 20-70mm f4 lens?
Sure) I plan on buying one. But keep in mind that it’s a full frame lens
I’m getting 2 Sony a6700! I need a best recommendations for lens for video! Help me out! Wending, XV,! Please both I will use for video at different angles! Help
I guess I answered this question in the video itself)) Tamron 17-70 f2,8 VC is one of those for sure, and for the second angle - it’s up to you and your needs
Dust sucking issues? never had that in 40 years of lenses that extend. It may happen but is really nothing to worry about. Loads of lenses extend and if this was really an issue, they would have stopped
Didn’t have any issues yet.
Would the 18-105 be the best for travel, everyday casual filming, documentary and sports? If so, then pair it with a 23 1.4/2.8 for lowlight ?
Yeah, sure)
@@NOlimitsON thanks dad
I have the Sony 18-105mm F4. It's a very good video lens, as it has in-lens stabilization, and quite good image quality. But it's not the sharpest lens for photos, so bring another lens for sharp photos if you really care about sharpness in stills. If you're not that much of a pixel-peeper, then it's just fine for photos, too.
Have any body ever tested zeiss touit lenses for sony apsc?
I didn’t…
What about the samyan 12mm?
It's fine, but Viltrox 14mm f1.4 is a lot better
Is tamron too soft after 50mm ,I saw some comments on Reddit …
Today I’ve uploaded a full review and comparison of Tamron 17-70 vs sigma 18-50 - you can have a look 😎
at same price Sony 11mm 1.8 (is on sale in amazon) or viltrox 13 1.4
i'd go for Viltrox
@@NOlimitsON I went Sony 11mm, I mostly do video and I already have the 16mm. Its 20mm to 24mm equiv vs 16mm to 24mm equiv. 11mm was lie 420 on amazon. wow
I found this review a little lack luster. You recommend lenses that really have some issues. It’s nice to know what they are but I don’t understand why they would be on a “favorite” choice list?
No lens is perfect, especially when you consider the price)
You polish?😊

A video about the best APSC lenses for Sony crop cameras that doesn’t feature the Sony 16-55mm f/2.8 G 😂
It's too expensive and the sigma 18-50mm f2.8 is really close, I don't see a point of buying the 16-55mm f2.8 G
It’s really overpriced in my opinion
@@NOlimitsON the title said "Best APS-C lenses" not "Best value for money APS-C lenses" so Liam's point is valid. Any way it's an subjective chart and it's up to you what to list there.
overpriced compared to the sigma 18-50mm F2.8. that sigma is THE best value for your money
@@d_solomin still that sigma is the best against the sony 16-55, not only cheaper but also more compact and reliable
