      If you're talking quality, Adelaide is outranked by other cities in terms of quality of life. Canberra and Perth have the highest standards of living.

    • @criticalthinkersrule
      @criticalthinkersrule 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@thevannmann I'm afraid you are incorrect. Out of Australian cities Adelaide ranks third on the Global Livability Index (11th in the world) behind Melbourne and Sydney, but ahead of Perth and Canberra. For many years it was second after Melbourne, and one year it ranked highest.

    As a born and bred Adelaidian, this is no surprise to me. The bigger cities are nice to visit but coming home is the best feeling. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
    I live on the coast at Hallett Cove where you saw the dolphins.

    I loved Adelaide, the churches , the architecture , the marina which is the most beautiful I ever seen , beautiful produce , a very clean city and the people are friendly and very helpful . The weather isn’t humid because it has the climate similar to the Mediterranean countries .So give Adelaide a go !

    Thanks for the review. Sydney and Melbourne are gigantic gridlocks now and Brisbane is heading in the same direction. Always a nice feeling when the plane is descending into Adelaide Airport. It's the right size town now and the surrounds i.e Adelaide Hills, great beaches and the famous wine regions are well worth visiting...

      @@Paul-lx2pc I can only agree with all of that! Tho Brisbane is the one major Australian city that I didn't get to check out that. Will hopefully happen soon.

    Thank you! Adelaide completely undersells itself, when in reality, it is a beautiful city that offers an excellent quality of life. Lived in every other Australian city so that's based on experience.
    Its population is greater or comparable to some of the most iconic cities around the world (and NO, not a country town or "so small"- look it up or try living in an actual country town), it is unique and has always been more forward thinking than many other Australian cities, especially politically and socially.
    Also, I've said it before and will keep saying it, haters who sh!t talk it and say it's boring, are boring themselves. If you can't find things to see and do in Adelaide, that's a YOU problem.

    Shhhh mate, we've worked very hard to pretend that Adelaide is not worth visiting. ;P
    Sorry about "China Town" the landlords have chased away the tenants and closed around two thirds of the little hole in the wall restaurants for a major redevelopment. It's a ghost of its former self. Most of the old restaurants have moved a block south around Field Street or nearby. Also The Central market is about half of what it used to be with an attached indoor mall being knocked down and redeveloped.
