I was here several years ago but
I could not physically climb the mountain so I remained below with other pilgrims who also could not make the trail. We prayed the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. It was a Beautiful and Blessed Retreat for us ALL.

So grateful for this virtual tour! We were pilgrims in May 1990, there were 10 of us and we stayed in Pensiones. We walked to Daily Mass everyday and it was always concelebrated with many priests. The church was full of pilgrims. It was awesome to see young kids praying the Rosary on their own. While we were we witnessed the miracle of the sun. The sun looked like it was rotating with multicolored lights shooting out around the sun. The sun itself was round but there was like a white host covering it. During the miracle of the sun, I was in awe and joyful tears flowed from my eyes because of the wonder of what we were experiencing. It was also a great sight to see the continuous confessions going on in so many languages! This happened thirty three years ago but the impact of our pilgrimage to Medjugorje is still so fresh. To offer pilgrims many areas of prayer. We were able to go up Mt. Kruzievac, and Apparition Hill. We met several of the visionaries and in particular Marija who was gifted to speak Italian so she could relate with the many pilgrims from Italy. Praise you Lord for Medjugorje that has vivified our faith and all the graces You gave us while on our pilgrimage! May Your Divine Will reign in the hearts of all. FIAT!!

I had the privilege to go to Medjugorje in 1989. Cross Mountain is exactly the same & took me immediately back on that spiritual journey. So many changes around St. James Church & Apparition Hill. Years ago after the war broke out I was with a group on our way to Medjugorje and our trip was canceled while we were at the airport in NY City . We had several young people with us some with out their families and the authorities said they needed written permission to continue with our flight so we had to cancel we could not continue without them they were very far from home . Unfortunately I never had an opportunity to experience Medjugorje first hand although I experienced it in my heart so this virtual tour is very special for me. I was cured as result of my very first visit of debilitating migraines which l suffered with for many year:
after my stay in Medjugorje, l was back to my hotel in Croatia, the next morning l experienced a type of pressure leave my head: and l felt a such an extraordinary joy in my whole being:
The migraines eventually completely disappeared in a very short time: all l know, l haven't even had a headaches since that experience:
Returning back to my country, l slowly began to return to my Roman Catholic Faith: l started to "learn" my Faith with God:
It led me on a path of how l was slowly taken to where l am today, to a way of living my life in a contemplative way in my Faith, my family and community everday, yes living it daily: and being aware of myself:
being aware of the choices l make everday, do those choices hurt someone or not, do they hurt me, do they hurt God:
I tell you it takes time, it takes faith to believe everything comes with and from God: l mean everything, even every meal one eats: pray for that meal and be grateful you have it from God, and pray for those who are hungry: bring them with you:
If you begin to learn yr Faith, you begin to put on the mind of Christ, it's done for you spirituality by the Holy Spirit: you dont do it, because you cannot do this yourself, its given to you as a gift: and the gift is not a burden, it is "light", it not heavy, all gifts from the Holy Spirit are easy and joyful... meaning they become naturally easy to you
It's just there, example:- driving the car, you pray that you dont hurt anybody by yr driving, it comes to yr mind to pray a short pray of protection of all drivers of the world against any accidents on the road:
Pray for yr husband and each child for God to protect them today, you also pray for protection for each and every child and every wife & husband in the world: What use is it if you just pray for yr family only: remember the world is yr family:
just bring them to Christ, Christ will look after them:
You in yr heart have given them over to Christ: that's the best you can do: the rest leave to Our Mother: Remember we live with everbody today, this day is so important to live with the world... this is living with Christ: you may never know these people but they are Christ's children, as you and l are his beloved children:
We remain always children, because He created us and we will be His children on earth & in Heaven:
There is so much more to learn: Pray any prayer of the Roman Catholic Church is valid, every kind intention is Christ based, every good thought is valuable as long as it includes you and every human and all humanity that have been born and pray for those who will be born: Pray for all souls in Purgatory, someone will pray for you if you will be in Purgatory:
