Thank you! It saved my 10+ hours gameplay. For me that was the bug what happened at 2:52, but the platforn not shifted but lifted by few meters so the jump was impossible to make. In a separate save I did the methode what you showed (to have the achievements), but in the end I just continued the bugged save, but with unlock all of the warpgate.

Wouldn't be surprised if they patch in making the bottom two blocks immovable without the other two blocks being present. Used to love this game as a kid.

Need help with the fire glyph. There is a doof which you open with a crank. And if you switch to the spektrum real should stay open. But in the Remaster it still closes after the switch into the specktral realm. Did anyone else have this Problem ?
Though so to at first but the door closes even after the switch. Also at some time the door was not fully closed but let a litle passage open. Which i Though he could pass but nooe games said no😢 But still thanks for your effort

Reloading did nothing for me. I had a save just before I got to that room & when I reloaded the blocks both vanished. I was so pissed off that I started playing that new Indiana Jones game instead.
Oh wow! Interesting. I got lucky and saw those blocks before heading down. Hope they fix it soon. I do wonder if this could also happen in the original?
What I want to know is how to turn off the night cycle So I can see WTF I'm doing again. At least in the area I was in when it went dark I almost can't see anything at all. It's pretty much unplayable for me. And I say that as someone who loved this game and finished it back when it was originally released. No wonder that feature was removed from the original version.
That was one of our biggest pain points aswell..the day night cycle is so unnecessary and the darkness is makes it legit almost unplayable. Especially since there are no real dedicated light sources in this game except a couple of torches that are kinda rare to find. Having everything be pitch black at night is just dumb
There's a soft lock in the Silenced Cathedral, more specifically when you turn the valves (which shatter after being used once) before pushing the pipes down.
Maybe because the game tries to keep solved Puzzles Finisher made this glicht. There are few things which are persistend after you finished them. Like the first Block were you encounterd your first physikal realm enemys
@FreezeEngine man, that's SO strange, that's for sure. Must've not gotten block collision properly done. Should've landed on top if the collision was done properly. Here's to hoping they have a patch fairly fast on it.
@FreezeEngine I kinda want to tinker with those blocks now and see if I push one on top of the other from the ground floor can replicate it. My guess is either the bottom of one or the top of the other is the culprit
@FreezeEngine So I jumped down and put the first 2 blocks in place then I went back up and hit the blocks to make them go down. One of them glitched in the blocks already placed and the first thing I did was flipped it. Sorry it didn't work for you. Maybe I did it just the right way? I don't know.
I didn't get softlocked with the cubes but with the moving platform. My platform was so far it was unreachable. But I figured u can still jump on top of the moving rod that's supposed to hold the platform. I'm actually pretty disappointed with the remaster, obviously it's a good improvement from the original but it has so many bugs and some of the textures could be a lil more detailed imo.. like the rocks and walls but what's even more disappointing that I still had some frame drops even tho I have 2070 super and this graphics looks like PS2/PS3 era xd Actually I'd say legacy of kain defiance had some better textures than this xdd

In one playtrough I have encountered at least 5 and that's not a prob. every game has bugs but U can't advance 1 bug and it's game over...only solution it's to reloud last save but c'mon ppl....needs a patch 💯

It works fine, you just have to be nearly frame perfect when you shift to spectral. Took me about 6 tries to get through.

This bug was in the original too, I played the old SR earlier in the year before the remasters were announced and got hit with it.

This happened to me the other day. All I did was crouch and hit action to flip the box and it worked. It flips the box that was there first.
We tried that but I guess it didn't work for us..
