This is the kind of review that I prefer. Much more detailed. One can stop and then continue watching. Really appreciate it.

Usual great review Brian and when you compared prices to Hybrids it shows now the EV pricing is coming into line across so many segments. The March of the EV is unstoppable.

That dashboard is a really thoughtful design.

Nice looking car and hugely roomy, but you just know for a private buyer they will be £30k used in a year. At that price it’s a good buy, but close to £50k is unfortunately more Stellantis fantasy pricing and they won’t sell for that.

Exactly right on the price and I suspect the lease deals will reflect a lower price for sure...

Interested and going to test drive one, however while 400+ mile range sounds great, be interesting to know the real world range with 7 people onboard

At the start I was thinking "that's a nice step up from the 505" and then you showed one!

It looks better than the e3008, which although interesting looking appears a little bloated and slab backed. The quirky bluff face is better matched with more traditional suv rear and the longer wheel base of the e5008 makes the car look longer and leaner. Probably price wise it’s ok in the segment but a depreciated one in a couple of years will be more attractive to many. The range on the big battery version will definitely get some attention even if the 411 miles reduces to about 300 miles fully laden in the depths of winter. I believe a panoramic roof is an option which would lighten it up but that’s the rub. Ticking all the boxes is going to make it uncompetitive. More standard kit please Peugeot!

Speaking of not judging a family car on handling. Perhaps more reviews should be talking about how they drive around tight car parks, all well having a great view forwards and wrap around seats if you can't turn around in the seat, it won't drive at less than 5mph and it barely steers at full lock.

One question - is it easy for the front passenger to change their side of the dual zone air-con temperature? Did not look like it would be easy for the front passenger to do so?

Also the 7-seat id.Buzz in a basic trim will be in the same price group as e-5008.

It looks like there are air vents on the 3rd row on the roof. Could you confirm that?

Enjoy the reviews....do you review any used EVs?
Why is cable storage under the load area... infuriating with a full load on a rain6day when you need to charge up en route. It should be a dedicated are under the bonnet imo.

Not particularly having a dig at this car, but I purposely never buy black cars due to the nightmare of keeping them looking clean, and this trend of cladding the most vulnerable road dirt areas (wheel arches, sills and lower rear) means the whatever colour you buy you can’t avoid it!

Good test. About the price compared to other seven-seaters. The cost is not only determined by the purchase price. Depreciation is of substantial influence. I miss that aspect a bit in the test.

I would love to include it, but it’s a bit of a crystal ball scenario with a car that has literally just been launched. Who knows what it will be like in relation to its contemporaries?

Yet another ‘speed brake’ charge door. So vulnerable when using some chargers in public spaces or along the roadside. The EV9 is similar. I put mine on charge in Helensburgh station and then spent a day in Glasgow fretting that I would be returning to a broken charge door. There is also the risk that someone might amuse themselves by breaking it. With all the tech being thrown at electric vehicles surely a better solution could be found, in fact why are manufacturers obsessed with putting the charge port in the same position as a petrol filler on ICE cars when they have to be left unattended for longer periods?

Its main competitor on the market is Dacia Jogger. Unless you obsoletely need electric.

Not hideous but samey. So depressing to see the uniformity of those Peugeot SUVs everywhere. You guys outside of France are lucky.
