RTC had the best entry music because it did exactly what it was meant to do. You couldn't sing to it, you couldn't dance to it, it wasn't catchy, all you can do was boo. It was obnoxiously perfect to create nuclear heat, and it worked.

The WWF in 2000 was probably the best year in terms of the “Attitude” Era and this was the year that the product was significantly toned down from previous years. Great year in wrestling
They pretty much started toning down after Owen Hart passed away in my opinion! That and WCW by then didnt stood a chance against them because WWF was at its peak! 2000 was my favorite and arguably the best!

Impact Wrestling tried that last year with Joey Ryan’s cancel culture stable, but it got zero reaction even before COVID. Then the double whammy of the pandemic and the Speaking Out movement led to the group’s downfall.
RTC was brilliant and it showcased how underrated a lot of wrestlers were back in the days. They not only could wrestle flawlessly, but their gimmicks were perfect because of their mic skills. Stevie was the ultimate heel when you look back at it.

Right to censor was a good heel angle. You hated them right at the beginning and Stevie Richards made his character a repulsive human being and looking back on it, that gimmick really showcased Richards talent. He was already talented in ECW but just seeing him become this persona just made him a wrestler on another level. Mad respect for Stevie.
Chris, my friends and I used to go to all the live WWF shows dressed up as RTC! It was incredible. People would seriously try to fight us. Of course, I was the leader of the group. People just didn't want to change their ways!!!
I met Stevie and Ivory when they made an appearance for a show for Ultimate Pro Wrestling in southern California. I was doing some production work for UPW at some of their shows - this was the time when John Cena was wrestling as Prototype on a developmental contract. That was the first time I got to see talent work out their segment and match backstage, and then later watch it unfold in the ring during the show - and it was fascinating. They were so nice backstage and took the time to shake hands and say hello to just about everybody.
My sister and I would plug our ears or turn down the TV when their theme song played and spazzed out on the ground. Lol we had fun with it. We knew they were bad guys and we got the idea, they were such great heels and could wrestlers. They didn't look weak unless they went up against stone cold or kane but that's how everybody else got treated. Ivory got booked pretty strong in my opinion. Hated RTC as kid. Theme was perfect, even though it was annoying. RTC definitely deserved more credit for all the members pulling it off. RTC was ahead of its time. Probably would be more relevant today.

The parents television Council and right to censor wear snowflakes before being a snowflake was cool LOL. Nope I can't even make that joke work, being a snowflake is never cool
Right To Censor was one of the most slept-on factions of the Attitude Era. It takes a lot of balls to do what they did, threading the needle between comedy and protest.
Stevie's questions of whether or not the RTC would get cheered today was very clearly answered now after Ivory briefly came back with the gimmick during this year's royal rumble. Edit: And then he foreshadows that later on in this very same video anyway lol
the WWE had spoofed the "Parents Television and Media Council" with Stevie (Steven) Richards' "Right To Censor" stable, back in the day (to tone down the "sexual innuendos" and "violence": Bull Buchanan; The Goodfather (The Godfather (Papa Shango/Kama, the ("MMA") Fighting Machine) without his Hoe's or his Ho Train (which featured Victoria/Tara); Val Venis (Hello Ladies !), Ivory; The Kat (Stacey Carter (Chyna's "Mini Me", Jerry "the King" Lawler's then-GF); for a brief moment, the Dudley Boys had tried to join the stable). This faction had reminded me of CM Punk's "Straight Edge Society" stable (with Punk as it's "cult leader": Serena Deeb, Luke "Doc" Gallows (formerly known as Festus (with a guy with blonde hair, named Jesse; he's now with his tag-team partner, Karl Anderson, formerly of "the OC/Bullet Club"), & (a bald) Joey Mercury (whose tag-team partner was John Morrison; Melina (was their manager). )
The RTC was a prime example of working on a gimmick right on its time. The concept of playing along with how pro-wrestling in that era was gradually being endorsed by TV networks to tone down and had "problematic" fan-favourite character like The Godfather changed to The Goodfather over political correctness, while they'd result with beat downs to deliver their agendas, really resonant well with the audiences. I feel like the stable can be revitalize in this age, probably working in favour for heel wrestlers who constantly demand title shots because they came from "oppressed" backgrounds.

The RTC theme was intentionally bad/annoying. For a heel wrestler it generated immediate heat as soon as you heard it. Therefore it worked.
