What microphone setup did you use for these videos? It's rare that videos have this high quality of an audio recording, really love how even when truck is good 300-400 meters away, you can still hear it the same way you'd be able to do so in real life.
Yup, shitty post 2007 Freightshakers and Vulvas that sound like shit and drive like shit. But there are some nice trucks too. We have proper transmissions (Synchromesh transmissions are shit in trucks, EF road ranger and spicer multi stick transmissions are the only way to go). Long nose trucks are the most beautiful trucks. We have V8's too (not common). Detroit diesel 2 stroke V8's (and some v12's), CAT V8's. But like most of europe, most north american trucks are junk
Béla Bá have to disagree on bullnose statement. I think it looks terrible, but put that aside. From a practical point of view its stupid. American tractor units are way too long.
@@felixwankel3989 Obviously you have Never driven a Scania to make such a ridiculous statement like that, their transmission’s are brilliant, I’ve driven Eaton Fuller and Spicer boxes and I’d go for the Scania any day,the Volvo is a bit clunky when range changing but I had an F7 with the 16 speed which drove flawlessly for over 250,000 miles while I had it then someone else had it from then on. The Scanias I’ve driven have had the Spitter box like the Spicer fitted to ERF with Cummins or Rolls Royce engines. Scanias are like driving a luxury car even when running at full weight, that V8 power unit just gets better and better and the straight 6s are pretty good as well.
Symphony in V8 - thanks for filming and sharing!
Monstrueux sa mère.....from France
Nothing like Scania V8 straight pipe 😍😍👍
Ateş ediyor ateş, yağ gibi akıyor, geçip gidiyor önünden...

Ricardo Carvalho Cummins sounds good though
@Béla Bá they offer no feedback to the driver.

Fantastic!
Nice of the Drivers to not shoot off the Air Horn. You watch videos like this for the sound of the V8, not the Air Horn.

Nice. But a 14 litre Cummins sounds better - and you get a Jake brake.
I miss the real trucks
What do you mean?
