You can invest a little bit of money and do a transfer switch to the main house and wont need all those heaters as that generator is more then capable of running your house a/c , heater ,refrigerator and other appliances.
Yep. I had one put on my house to power my motorhome but you can turn off your main breaker on your powerbox and then backfill from the generator by plugging into the 50 am RV switch. Powers the whole house.
Bought one myself after the TX snow storm and I'm in Arlington. I was without power and heat for the entire week. I also purchased mine from Home Depot. Make sure your cords are 15amp to run each heater.

I just purchased this from amazon, how has this been working out for you so far? I was thinking of purchasing 6250 watt duel fuel but decided on this one for the electric start. and higher wattage.
How is the noise level with this one? The specs say 74 dBA from 23'. I understand noise can be subjective but is it reasonable, seem a bit much, what do the neighbors think, etc.
I have this one and the only problem i have it it likes to not start. Ever. The problem is the Low Oil Sensor will disable its ability to run. Even when full of oil. It likes to stick to the bottom of the pan. I disabled the wire to the sensor and it fires up every time on the first or second crank. No other problems with it ever. I also bought a plug in that fits on my power meter outside my home. I shut off all the breakers of the stuff i don't want running. But this generator can almost run my entire house.
That’s a good generator. I have the same model 4 years ago. The fact that they still sell it then you know it’s reliable

@@carrillo713z You need to turn the gas lever on then full on choke. Press the electric start or pull the cord until it starts, then choke off.

Mine was bought when hurricane Ike hit Texas 13 years ago just unboxed in winter storm Uri , ('21). And I have the same car as you do.
And the battery still worked?
@@joeibarra9003 not out of the box, but I will put it on a charger and see if it is any good. But the generator started right away.

This video reminded my to fire it up and check it. Its going to be sub zero temps this week and that's when the power likes to go out.

How did you set up the battery
Put on a small electronic trickle charger to keep it charged.

you gonna need to give up 6000 watt to run all 4 heaters. each run at 1500 watt
