Thanks for keeping it real for being a hot rodder in these times. An old guy thought me a trick when swapping valve without an air compressor. Use the soft white nylon rope. Get the piston almost to TDC and put as much rope as you can get in the chamber. Then turn the engine over till it stops. Now your valves will not drop.

On the servo, that last 'plate' y'all put the sealing ring on is the 4th clutch piston in the 2-4 servo. I also observed when you installed it, the travel was way too much. So I believe the 2-4 band is trashed. When you air tested it, it looked like it had waaay to much movement too. When y'all get it overhauled, they make a wider 2-4 band, would probably be a good upgrade, as well as the z-pak for the 3-4 clutches.

MY FRIDAY EVENING ALARM!👌🏽
What's funny is that you actually had lower stall than a stock Syclone which was a 2200. The Astro's would have been a 1600. Swapping an S10 converter in was a fairly common upgrade.
When you get to front brakes, go find some late 90s early 00s Blazer dual piston calipers. They were a common upgrade.
I love watching mario and luigi build the chevy beach mouse
I hope I'm Mario!
Just found this show instantly hooked.
Welcome to the party!
Awesomeness 🎉 people quit hating on Alex. Tony left to spend time with his beautiful little girl(s). Alex is amazing not just eye candy.
Something I NEVER thought I would hear "...I got everything good out of an all wheel drive Astro Van..."
