The last point changed the history of tennis forever.
bilalaslamful when the balance between they changed
Kalo rabari
How about the championship point?
2009 Nadal won a similar point. The rally is not so long but faster. Both points for me are Top10 points of all time.

bilalaslamful No it didn't
His tennis is just so sublime. It’s so beautiful to watch. I’ll never get tired of watching him. That’s why he’s the GOAT to me. Poetry in motion indeed.
You can never get tired of watching Roger play, simply spectacular, incredible talent, agility, decision making and amazing feel for the ball! It's going to be such a terrible loss for tennis when he retires!!
(Me too Roger fan). Most creative in tennis.
But Novak is better in decision making.
Rafa is better in accepting failure and moving ahead with positive attitude in the middle of a match.
Novak is better in agility.
If there are X options to play a shot in a given match situation, Roger can come up with max options than the rest. He is spoiled with excess :)
Roger has the most beautiful game to watch. I guess Steffi Graf has the most beautiful game to watch on ladies' side.
rogerfederer.com has this Roger statement -- "When you do something best in life, you don't really want to give that up & FOR ME, IT'S TENNIS". I hope Roger stays on tour for few more years!
It happened... :(
very sad
The last rally literally brings chills down my spine. The goat.
That's why I love the Australian open. You guys have serious class making videos like these.
Exactly. Match highlights are not shit like RG or Us open. Plus videos like these are 🔥
Ninankmow no they dont, they barely show any video as from 2006-2007..
Good videos but the crowds aren't great, unfortunately. Hopefully this soccer "soooo" thing will be gone by next year.
The last one was just incredible!!
Absolutely. The best point I have witnessed in my life.
That last point gives me chills every time I see it. Two tennis gods hitting the felt off the ball, so amazing!
Beauty. Magic. Technique out of this world. Roger Federer is the best tennis will EVER produce.
That 2017 run was legendary, don’t think I’ll see a more exciting Grand Slam win than that
We're all watching these wonderful highlights because we understand true greatness. True greatness never gets old. Roger, we miss you so.
everyone: Roger's backhand is his weakest shot, attack his backhand, that's how Rafa beats him
2017 Roger: hold my beer
geniusfollower Neo backhand :)
Not strictly true Genius follower....In there last 7 meetings Rafa has only won one and that was at the French (where Rafa is almost unplayable) Federer must have been working on that weak backhand of his over recent times 🙄
Federers backhand is indeed not that rocksolid like Murrays or Djokovics. But for me thats not a weakness. The variety of his backhand is just mindblowing. He can literally play every shot in the book and more on this side. From this prospective is his backhand more a mistery than a weakness.
Lets be honest 6 from 7 meetings were on hard if those 6 meetings would be on clay it would be 7/1 for nadal. But federer played really well in those matches respect from a rafan
@@luishd5343 7/1 when there's only seven matches? Messing with you lol
Happy 36th birthday Roger Federer. The Greatest for sure. Never will there be another Roger Federer again.
HAPPY 36th 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂
The best to ever pick up a racket in history of our sport! His passion, fluidity, shot making and elegance will echo for decades!
Happy Birthday Roger !!!! My hero, idol! Have a smashing 36 @ Montreal.. Waiting for no. 20 @ the Open..
That last rally is one of the very best ever, that pure greatness from both
He rewrote the book of tennis... GRACE and POWER!
RF forever!
Never tire of watching Federer videos....probably why he is the most popular player in tennis history.
Exactly I don't get tired watching Roger.
He's simply the best.
His backhands are purely majestic.
His forehands are ridiculously good, but I agree, there is something so graceful about his backhands, especially later in his career.
Lolll that point against Hewitt is one of my favourites. It's like he was playing against an unbeatable video game opponent. How many fantastic shots did Hewitt hit and Roger just kept defending! Insane!
Roger is Ronaldinho of tennis! What an amazing player !
That last one will go down as the greatest rally of all time...
Why?? It's very normal for me
@@rodrigoescobar8137 Are you a Rafa fan?
*For you
one of the 10 most wonderful minutes anyone can watch
Thank you Australian Open for making this video. Happy B'day Roger. keep delighting us forever....
Roger Federer = total package of perfection , anticipation, footwork and god skill level with back and forehand , this is very satisfying to watch
2:11 I thought he was showing the middle finger xP
Wawrinka one is my fav ... how patiently roger was defence ..
Tennis is really fun to play. 💖
AO 2017 is his greatest achievement so far. 6 months out and he comes back with a very difficult draw here and beats Nadal in final which was his 3rd 5 setter in the tournament! I don't know if this one can ever be topped it was an incredible tournament and cemented his status as the greatest
4 top ten players in a single tournament. Hasn’t been done for the past 35 years
Exactly brother. Still he is the greatest.
I think now you can change your statement, he is now 3rd in the list
@@CK-iv1lq nadal did the same at Roland garros
Premier league freak are you a mancity fan by any chance?
I Like how the Australian Open puts pretty good quality and often lengthy videos on the channel also during the tournament. Much better than Wimbledon for example.
Only thing to say : *Roger the best* .
Thanks AO. Happy birthday Roger.🎂🎂🎂
Needs to have the 08 Novak tiebreak inside out backhand. That one shot had so much on the line
I was expecting that point to be included too, along with a couple more from his semis against Safin in '05 , and several from '07 ( González, Roddick...).
Eterno Roger 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gracias por tanto 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Roger Federer is the best tennis player of any generation. Thats why everyone looks up to him.
There will only ever be one Roger Federer, the man is a machine. Never to be Surpassed.
2018 Game, Set and Match
2:24 why isn't Nadal making noises?
He doesn’t grunt while defending/slicing
That point against Zverev was absolutely savage. But theres too many pts from last year. Is Roger seriously playing some of his best tennis now at the age of 36
Aykut Yes. Yes he is
King Roger 🎾
He had so many haters and doubters. From his 2012 wimbledon win until oz 17 many said his time was up. Guess what? 36 with 19 gs bitches
What amazing mastery!
Roger's defense is highly underrated
There will never be another Roger Federer.
36k views... 36 points... Federer turning 36?? Coicidence... I think not!
John Lu what do you mean? 36 points and Federer turning 36 was intended. 36k views is the only thing that’s a coincidence.
Lol 382k views now and fed is 38 years old. That a coincidence? Maybe he is 38m2
Will Stoppani or maybe he’s 973 years old
2 million views nd he is 39
Amazing tennis!!! Best of the best!!!
Glorious champion
The first and last points are so special 💕
Unbelievably quality video from first point to last
Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Mohammed Lahyani are the diemond triangle of the golden age of tennis.
Tennis will not return after them as it was, and They will remain in the memories of the most beautiful tennis in history .
Happy 36th birthday Federer! 🎉🎁🎂🎈One of my favourite tennis players. 😍
That first point vs Hewitt is my favorite. The defense and speed of prime Fed was insane.
2017 and 2018 Neo Federer is my absolute favorite. If he had played this aggressive his whole career he would have 30 grand slams.
6 Australian open titles 😍 , amazing
There are plenty more amazing shots from earlier times but still a great birthday tribute. Sending out 36 birthday kisses to Roger.😘 36x.
Not a single point from 06 or 07? I loved 17 as much as anyone, but c'mon.
Inside out backhand vs Novak in 08 should be here. Running bh flick against Roddick in 07 too.
The inside out backhand in that tiebreak in 08 with courier exclaiming “THAT IS INSANE TENNIS” is forever burned into my memory
Not to mention nothing from 2012 ... like that 95 mph backhand vs. Nadal or the full stretch down the line continental topspin forehand bullet to repel one of Rafa's in the same match ... or the pinpoint lunge flick backhand down the line (half-)volley pass vs Tomic ... or the baseline-to-baseline down-the-line backhand half-volley winner off an Inside-out Delpo hammer.
@@flyfreak23 That BH of Roger vs. Novak was good, but it was perhaps the lone big point Fed won in that match. The point that'll always remain in my memory is that reflexive running flick BH passing shot he hit against Roddick in 2007. If someone asks you to give an example of talent defeating raw power, this is the point. It's the one for textbooks and definitely one of the best shots Roger's ever played.
I miss the great Roger.

Love this!
Amazing!!
We miss you Roger.
All of those points from Federer are the BEST.
Great great great...
Big fan of Rog ❤️
Como se te extraña Roger 👌🏻💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Legend
That last point is the greatest point played in the History of Tennis. That match forever changed by perception of Federer, he was a complete player at that Australian Open with the new and improved backhand.
De otro mundo..
common theme - they crowds all went Ohhh wow uhhhhh ohhhh wooooow waaaa yayyyyy when Federer is playing! ❤️ #GOAT
High Quality video, like it!
GOAT. I LOVE AO.
Enorme Roger 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
These are magic. No doubt.
so impressive...
happy birthday roger!!
I love the sound of the crowd at the end of the last rally
Just WOW

Just when I thought I’ve seen all the of master’s greatest, there are always more to see.
The best of the history!
Federer ® the ultimate tennis player
We can have a debate about who is the best in history, but one thing is for sure… no one has ever had elegance like Fedex (not even Pistol Pete, my favorite player)… Roger is simply poetry on the move…
One of the best videos on youtube, that showcase the extent of Roger Federer's ability..
Great
1:07 illuminati confirmed
Roger is the best one
Genius @ work !
🇨🇭 🇨🇭 🇨🇭
Buonasera
Super! C'est Enorme
Great! It's enormous
I find the lack of points from his best AO to be quite disturbing.
Jerry To
His best AO was 2017. There were plentiful. 2007 doesn't even compare.
2007 does compare because his 2007 ao was better idiot.
No need for insults, he was just stating his opinion.
Sheev Clade
I'd say 2017 only because he had a ridiculously monstrous draw and clawed his way past 4 top-10 players, 3 of which required FIVE sets to get through
Ritwik Sathe Isn't that kind of the point? If you needed to pull through 5-setters that means you lost 2 sets in each of those matches, hence not being imperious. 2007 Fed would have smoked every single one of them in straights.
The king 🤴🤴🤴🤴
Mid 2000s federer was unreal 🔥🔥
Inspiracion total...
