The plastic on the sleeves of last hoody is actually good. They saw that ribbon is soft and can over stretch. It`s easy fix during the production but it helps to last longer.

Hey, great review, but regarding the blue shirt at the end (when wearing it with the open side on the front), try spreading out the fabric and tying it at the back so it becomes a wrap top. I initially had the same problem with the top but after I figured it out it’s now the shirt I’m the most excited to wear
The itchy plastic-y thing on the cuff of the blue sweater is a stabilizer sewn in there to keep the cuff from stretching out and the end of the sleeve stays gathered n puffed, otherwise it will get really stretched out n saggy. Lol
Great video! Tiff, the last teal blue outfit looked great on you: the teal half-zip sweatshirt, the teal skort and the teal bra. That outfit was the winner! I'm like you in that I hate when colors in the same collection don't match because of differences in fabric. I'm 5'8 and a Large, so I would definitely get wear out of that green flare pant. 😉

The scratchy is the 'clear' elastic that you are feeling. I'm just going to try and trim it off. When they overlooked the elastic a little stuck out when the machine finished sewing. Btw, I liked the sweetheart top on you. It was cute!

A different influencer I watched said that she wished that the items were all recycled polyester versus regular polyester. Can you expand on why you don't want it to be recycled Polyester?
@TiffyQuake thank you for the reply!! I thought recycled polyester uses like 80-90% less energy than regular polyester? And regular polyester also has micro plastics so I feel like I am missing something!

I love Cassey and popflex and saw she was releasing this collection at target and had to go pick up some pieces for myself, though sadly there wasn’t a lot of options left in my size. Luckily I did find the teal skort and reversible top in my size (XS) so I swooped them up. The skirt is so cute and I’ve wanted one from popflex but they were also sold out of my size and the reversible top looks cuter as a sweetheart neckline to me. Great review and I’m so glad you compared the two lines! I will still be buying the more expensive popflex as well
Popflex did a bunch of polls about the length of the Pirouette Skort and a lot of people said it was too short and they would love a slightly longer version. Hope those people are giving this Ballerina Skort a try! Thank you for the side-by-side!
I bought the marshmallow hoodie because it looks so similar to the cloud hoodie and was so excited about the design. It is super cute, but you have to be mindful of the lint. I was wearing a black shirt and I tried it on to see what size I wanted in. My whole shirt was full of lint after wearing the jacket for less than a minute. I still got the jacket because it’s super cute, but keeping a lint roller nearby would be very helpful if you purchase it. I rolled mine before wearing it and it still had a lot of lint on it. It’s in the wash right now and I’m hoping that that takes away that issue. Also, the matching pants got lint all over my UGGs.
I have the half zip in black and I also noticed the plastic scratching my skin on my wrist. I went to cut it off but it was underneath the stitches and I was afraid I’d rip up the stitches accidentally. Still a fantastic sweater! I was going to get the blue you have but then I noticed there’s no sweatpants in the same blue and girl, I love a matching set.
I was excited about the release and went in store. I wasn't a fan of the fit and style on me. The quality is there. Maybe some day, there will be something for me Great review by the way!

You looked great in everything ! The reversible shirt was on wrong when you reversed it, though. It's supposed to be like a wrap top. I think there were instructional images on the tag to show you the two ways to wear the top.
I only kept the full zip. I returned the flare leggings and sweatpants. I just wasn't blown away. I heard the fabric is different on the black from the green.
I don’t have the pop flex skirt but I do have the target ruffle skirt and I love it! The pop flex’s waist band is too thick for my liking and I prefer the cross waistband. I’m 5’2” and the XS skirt was plenty short. I think if you got a M the length would be been better :). I also opted for the target version because I don’t even work out so I don’t care too much about the quality 😅 I just bought it because I wanted a cute and comfy skirt that has pockets lol.

I think the skirts you got in large were just not falling as intended because of extra fabric/bigger waistband. If you tried them in medium it might fall better.
Tbh, I had to get smaller sizes too with the skort. I’m normally a L-XL on the bottoms and ended up getting an S (probably could’ve gone medium too) because of how I wanted the length. Idk if that’s the case with popflex skorts too?
4:44 , I'm just wondering why wouldn't you want a product made of recycled polyester ? (I may have heard wrong but it sounded like you said "wasn't" instead of "was" 😭), its just that recycled polyester is better for the environment, and unfortunately at least for work out clothes there aren't many alternatives for fabrics, because fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex(these fabrics are very harmful) don't absorb as much moisture (sweat, water, ect.) Obviously, everyone has their own preferences on what kinds of fabrics they like, however for me personally I love to see companies incorporate how their products can affect our earth in the long run. I feel like if anything I feel like brands and companies should be using more recycled fabrics, it's an amazing way to not add to anymore waste. Although recycled polyester isn't the most sustainable fabric in the world, it is definitely more sustainable than regular polyester since the fabric isn't made of a natural fiber. For me, I'd love to see companies working more towards making sure they are sustainable, and Im glad Cassie has also done so(at least with the brand at target).
It’s because polyester’s (even recycled polyester) are made with chemicals that can be unsafe. They are non biodegradable and release micro plastics when washed - which is also bad for the environment. I personally would prefer not to wear plastics especially while sweating but like I said in the video it is something we need to work towards as a collective since that seems to be the industry standard
@ I understand that everyone has they’re own preferences as to what they want to wear, like if someone doesn’t wanna have plastic in they’re clothing that’s okay !but I think especially with work out clothes it comes down to the better of two evils, polyester and recycled polyester are not good, however recycled polyester is less harmful than polyester. Lots of fabrics used in workout clothes (specifically) use very harmful materials because they’re more moisture resistant, and right now (at least) recycled polyester is one of the less harmful ones(which even then is still harmful)which is why (at least in workout clothes/sports wear) it is a better option, as they’re aren’t many sustainable fabrics that can be used productively in workout clothes. Personally I think we just have to work towards finding better options, rather than choosing between the better of two evils.
You’re quite a bit shorter than me but built very similarly otherwise, so this was VERY helpful to see!! I’m with you on the colors not matching. It drives me crazy! I do love the Popflex OG line and have been super happy with the quality of Popflex so I’ll probably just stick with the OG despite the price. It’s worth it!
The last pieces...Serenity Blue, I believe, I did not see at all. Very disappointed. I purchased Steel Blue. Now, I'll probably return because I definitely wanted a color closer to PopFlex Oasis.
Love your content, Tiff! I’d honestly recommend that anyone interested maybe try on the Target line for fit, but ultimately invest in Popflex. Nothing is free & a few extra bucks will save you in the long run. You’re still supporting the brand and not potentially sacrificing the integrity of your pieces. It's more “sustainable” for the planet because it is more for you. PS: I also don't like recycled polyester! I'm biased because I have sensory processing issues, but I much prefer nylon for workout wear, and natural fabrics outside of that.

I feel like not incorporating cup pad to save money is a cop out. The decrease in quality of fabric and design is so dramatic that I don't see a reason to not have them included. Everything is cute, I'm just a little annoyed 😒
I want the jacket so damn bad in black 2X or bigger, but not the fleece one the sweatpants aren’t fantastic. I wear them constantly. Yes, I had to buy them in a 2X they large, which was the only other size they had in stock, hugged my crotch and gave me the worst camel toe.
I was disappointed with the Popflex leggings, they sag and don’t compress at all. I hope the Target version is better. Can’t wait for my hoodie to come in the mail
I love Popflex, so I went to Target to check it out and I felt the material and didn't buy anything. The quality was just not it, so I'll stick to Popflex online!

Tbh, I had to get smaller sizes too with the skort. I’m normally a L-XL on the bottoms and ended up getting an S (probably could’ve gone medium too) because of how I wanted the length. Idk if that’s the case with popflex skorts too?

4:44 , I'm just wondering why wouldn't you want a product made of recycled polyester ? (I may have heard wrong but it sounded like you said "wasn't" instead of "was" 😭), its just that recycled polyester is better for the environment, and unfortunately at least for work out clothes there aren't many alternatives for fabrics, because fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex(these fabrics are very harmful) don't absorb as much moisture (sweat, water, ect.) Obviously, everyone has their own preferences on what kinds of fabrics they like, however for me personally I love to see companies incorporate how their products can affect our earth in the long run. I feel like if anything I feel like brands and companies should be using more recycled fabrics, it's an amazing way to not add to anymore waste. Although recycled polyester isn't the most sustainable fabric in the world, it is definitely more sustainable than regular polyester since the fabric isn't made of a natural fiber. For me, I'd love to see companies working more towards making sure they are sustainable, and Im glad Cassie has also done so(at least with the brand at target).
It’s because polyester’s (even recycled polyester) are made with chemicals that can be unsafe. They are non biodegradable and release micro plastics when washed - which is also bad for the environment. I personally would prefer not to wear plastics especially while sweating but like I said in the video it is something we need to work towards as a collective since that seems to be the industry standard
@ I understand that everyone has they’re own preferences as to what they want to wear, like if someone doesn’t wanna have plastic in they’re clothing that’s okay !but I think especially with work out clothes it comes down to the better of two evils, polyester and recycled polyester are not good, however recycled polyester is less harmful than polyester. Lots of fabrics used in workout clothes (specifically) use very harmful materials because they’re more moisture resistant, and right now (at least) recycled polyester is one of the less harmful ones(which even then is still harmful)which is why (at least in workout clothes/sports wear) it is a better option, as they’re aren’t many sustainable fabrics that can be used productively in workout clothes. Personally I think we just have to work towards finding better options, rather than choosing between the better of two evils.

I’m with you on the colors not matching. It drives me crazy! I do love the Popflex OG line and have been super happy with the quality of Popflex so I’ll probably just stick with the OG despite the price. It’s worth it!

Love your content, Tiff! I’d honestly recommend that anyone interested maybe try on the Target line for fit, but ultimately invest in Popflex. Nothing is free & a few extra bucks will save you in the long run. You’re still supporting the brand and not potentially sacrificing the integrity of your pieces. It's more “sustainable” for the planet because it is more for you.
PS: I also don't like recycled polyester! I'm biased because I have sensory processing issues, but I much prefer nylon for workout wear, and natural fabrics outside of that.

I was disappointed with the Popflex leggings, they sag and don’t compress at all. I hope the Target version is better. Can’t wait for my hoodie to come in the mail
I love Popflex, so I went to Target to check it out and I felt the material and didn't buy anything. The quality was just not it, so I'll stick to Popflex online!
