Flip Wilson w0as a nice man. he worked the Playboy clubs in the 60s. he knew all the Bunny rules and when he did that skit we all knew he did it fir us.
Flip Wilson is my all time favorite comedian he's very talented and I love when he does Geraldine it's absolutely awesome god bless him I miss him tremendously
Not only Flip outdone himself in his fabulously seductive skit of Geraldine loosely going down the stairway, but glory, he was damned cute wearing his playboy bunny outfit. I remember the first time watching this scene in 1971, and I couldn't stop the tears flowing down my cheeks from laughing too much. Flip was a sensation back in the late 60s' and early 70s' when comedy was still king. RIP Flip "Geraldine" Wilson :'-)
We used to watch this as a family when I was 9 my mother would laugh so hard she would be crying I would be laughing too but that set the bar so high that nothing's been that funny since to that caliber
Flip really gave Bing the star treatment in this show. Flip learned all those tunes, probably did his homework and practiced. He did right by Bing Crosby treating him super special and still like one of the gang. Perhaps Bing respected him also as Flip had been around quite a whine like appearances on Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson and Hollywood Palace which Bing often hosted. I think Bob Hope also had Flip on a few of his TV specials. A few short years later Bing Crosby died in 1977.
Love Flip Wilson doing Geraldine and mentioning her Killer Joe, didn't know Flip could sing, and agree Bing Crosby has beautiful voice, miss those days but glad we can look back for laughs and sighs thinking of people back when.
I love the way he plays Geraldine 'straight' meaning he is seriously Geraldine, not Flip knowing he was playing Geraldine, if you can understand what I mean. And Geraldine had dignity. And very coordinated clothes! Brilliant!
Flip Wilson how great is he Geraldine oh my god love when he does Geraldine makes me laugh even all these years later miss you mr Wilson you brought so much laughter to so many people

Does anybody have a copy of this show where Flip played a stewardess and Johnathan Winters played Maude Frickett?
Luke Fawcett or the one with Lucille ball
He's got a bow on his dang-dang. They got away with it because it definitely would have been overlooked. There were no home recording devices.
