Streaky bacon isn't enough bacon. Family only ears shoulder or back bacon. That's real bacon. I always add cheddar cheese to my pie. Except for the bacon it looks good.

I love B.L.T's and prefer "white sauce" pizzas so I'm going to have to try this soon! Think I'll use flaky biscuits so I can split the super thin sections, and overlap them into shape before rolling. I'll take the advice on less mayonnaise, can't wait :). Stay safe and sane.
Hi Tammy! My husband and I really enjoy watching you all cook! I made this recipe tonight, and have a few simple suggestions. 1) Use a springform pan for baking. When done, just remove the springform side and the pie is ready to cut and serve on the base plate. 2) I think rolling the biscuits out and placing one sheet of dough in the pan is the best idea. By placing the individual biscuits in the pan and pressing them in place, I believe the biscuits end up tough because of all the handling and pressing, and don't rise as well. 3) On top of the bacon, I added a half pound of cooked, crumbled ground beef that I had left over. Added a great taste! Ended up with a sort of bacon cheeseburger with the works. We really love it. Let us know if you decide to try the recipe this way, and how you like it. Tammy and Chris, we hope you don't mind us passing on these tips. Your cooking is wonderful! We just thought you might enjoy some input from us amateurs. God bless you and keep you. Lord have MERCY this looks AMAZING!!! My only issue is the canned biscuits as a crust. I just haven’t had good luck using them in some recipes. I wonder what Phyllo dough would be like, or a pie crust or even pizza crust?? Maybe even the Pillsbury French loaf in the can, rolled out?? It’s really one of those recipes that’s just waiting for someone’s add a pinch of this or a pinch of that! Maybe some Basil in the Mayo/cheese mixture too?? Just some thoughts! I HAVE TO MAKE THIS!!!
I AM IN LOVE!!! I HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS. I make 2 ingredient pizza dough and it does the same thing as your biscuit dough did. I think if you leave it and let it rise a bit that it will roll out better and you could get two crusts instead of one. I love pizza but I hate tomato🍅 sauce. I think this will be Wonderful. I've gotten away from it since we're gotten so old and there's only two of us for all these years since the kids have families of their own..... I'd never heard of this one but I'm making it for sure. Just one problem-- it's against my principals to make 3 slices of bacon. Once a package is open, it's gone. Caught my grandson eating an entire pound by himself. Didn't offer to share. Guess we need to start raising hogs. Thanks for the recipe. I'll be making this soon.
I've only had it with a pie crust and it usually has fresh basil. I'm always really disappointed if they leave out the bacon! I love tomato on biscuits so I would probably like this. My granny would always make pizza using canned biscuits as the dough--nothing fancy, she used ground beef and cheddar as the toppings (we loved it).

I think one of the Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crusts might work well. The dough would probably be easier to work. But either way, it looks yummy and I can’t wait to try it. I haven’t been very creative in he kitchen lately. My creaky old back won let me stand very long, especially working over the counter. I do as much as I can scooting around the kitchen in a rolling stool, but that only helps so much. I gotta tell you, Tammy, this getting old stuff is not for sissies!
Looks delicious, i bet some Spinach would taste good in that..my Mom used to make something very similar.. she would make spinach pies with bacon or hamburger, always put tomatoes on them.. i love tomatoes thanks to my Mom, she always grew them, we would eat them right off the Plant.. im allergic and I would get sores in my mouth from the acid in the doctor told my mom not to let me eat them but it was useless,I still eat in to this day I don't care..i love them, now they say that they causes inflammation and if you have arthritis not to eat them, don't care about that either I'm still eating them. Lol
You sounds like me...foods we're not supposed to eat...is usually ALWAYS the food we love the best,...and by golly we're going to continue eating anyway...no matter what...yes...
Tammy I make a Paula Deen version that uses a pie shell no bacon or peppers but green onion and basil. I think the biscuit idea is a great alternative to the pie crust!! You should try the basil. It is Awesome!!

Yum. Add a little more bacon and chop the peppers and inions a but smaller. Maybe add shredded cheddar cheese. That is the only cheese I can eat. Allergic to dairy. But overall that looks heavenly. God Bless.

What about a cauliflower crust? Rice the cauliflower (and add 1/3-1/2C mozzarella or a substitute to hold the mixture together). Mix well. Press into the bottom of a greased pie plate lined with parchment paper. WIN-WIN!

Almost looks like pizza 🍕. I would have used either pie crust or bread dough from the supermarket if available. Too much salt in canned biscuits. You also could have made your excellent buttermilk biscuits 😋

Wouldn't that be delicious in a pizza crust! You can get it frozen at the grocery. Or you could even use one of those pre-baked pizza crusts to make it even faster.

I would go with the french loaf, I think the phyllo would get too wet

Maybe use a the pizza dough in the can as a base! It looks GOOD! Yum! And maybe add jalapeños and twice the bacon!

I use the frozen Rhodes dough for Bread and rolls. It just hit me, they would be FABULOUS as the crust for this recipe!!!

I make tomato pies but never like this..mine doesn't have bacon or biscuits I opt for bacon..We all know Bacon makes everything better.. TY for this video I will be making your recipe soon..YUM
