A lot of people don't understand, the physical discomfort and the long list of withdrawals that comes with stopping. With opioids, that's about five days of sleeplessness, skin crawling, restless leg syndrome, CONSTANT cold sweating, chills, hot flashes, sneeze fits, constant yawning and eye watering, extreme fatigue, abdominal pain, diarrhea (or passing hard painful stools that are the result of opioid induced constipation), back pain, vomiting, and more. It is grueling. You think oh come on five days, but when you're in it it's miserable and feels like it will never end. And it's SO hard to stick it out whilst the addicted brain is telling you every minute that it needs that substance to feel better. I would NEVER put myself through that again. Never ever. It's been 8 years since I touched a needle. Never again.

He reminds me of myself and I know for a fact without people like victor j wouldn’t be alive. Without scholarships, good people and opportunities (even if I wasn’t ready to take advantage of them fully at the time) by the grace of god, and with the help of many I have 4 years clean and my first child on the way at 35 . I’m sober for almost 20 years now but I got Covid 3 times and my health went to shit so after three years of scraping and selling everything we own to try and pay the rent we lost it all and now we’re homeless in rural south Mississippi. I wish I could work! Man I would in a heartbeat 😔people down here don’t help even the government! The homeless shelters are 60 deep in one room and they split families up .
I’ve been sober for 11 years and I tried so hard for many years to help and give guys opportunities. It’s heart breaking when you get burned. However every once in awhile it works out. Unfortunately I started to separate myself a bit because of how hard it is when you get attached. See a guy with a year sober then dead the next day. It’s amazing what you do.

Victor what you’re doing here is making me very happy. Addiction runs in my family from alcohol to heroin and everything in between. I was heavily addicted to gambling to cover up some personal issues. I still suffer with some unresolved issues but I have managed to kick the gambling into touch. I will always be an addict and have a very addictive personality but I can control every aspect of that now. I really wish there was someone like yourself who would have been there to guide me and show me what was right and wrong with no judgement. Don’t get me wrong I work every hour possible just to stay above water money wise but life is extremely good. Each month that goes by the debt gets less and less. Victor what you’re doing here is making me very happy. Addiction runs in my family from alcohol to heroin and everything in between. I was heavily addicted to gambling to cover up some personal issues. I still suffer with some unresolved issues but I have managed to kick the gambling into touch. I will always be an addict and have a very addictive personality but I can control every aspect of that now. I really wish there was someone like yourself who would have been there to guide me and show me what was right and wrong with no judgement. Don’t get me wrong I work every hour possible just to stay above water money wise but life is extremely good. Each month that goes by the debt gets less and less. Is there anyway I can donate or help in someway? If you ship to the uk I would love to buy a T shirt and do my but to help people like Troy and other people in similar situations.
