    NOTE: The (4) JTR RS2's in the video were not finished by JTR, but rather, a local company to match the finish on Brian's cabinet. The company that finished them thought the woofers were going to be flush with the speaker. Brian will be staining the unfinished area at a later date.

      But picture wise immersion no chance rivalling the gigantic 350+ person capacity IMAX and premium Dolby Atmos commercial cinemas. That have humongous 26metre by 20metre screens. 4k projectors costing nearly a million pounds.

    • @C--A
      @C--A 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lesmatthews459 It wouldn't blow a IMAX theatre out of the water! The biggest IMAX theatre in the UK has a humongous 26m by 20m screen. And 4k Projectors costing nearly a million pounds.
      The JTR speakers, Cherry amplifiers in this video if set up correctly in a large high ceiling dedicated home theatre probably could rival beat some very small commercial theatre's for shear SPL levels.

You or I would definitely have one of those systems in a dedicated room, properly treated, and no large wood and glass table right smack in between the speakers and the listening position (unless he listens off to the side LOL). But his choice of components seems a bit too specific to think he's not after good sound quality. But I do question the SQ of those corner loaded sub towers flanking essentially a wall of glass. And the neighbors must throw a fit. I'm so conflicted, the mature adult side of me is happy for him and would do the same if given the chance. What an incredible set of home theater and two channel systems. I have to agree with other commenters that there is a lot of equipment packed into the available space. I would love to see any of these systems in better designed space with proper acoustical treatment. Even with the rooms used, I would speculate with a bit of well place acoustical treatment, these systems would go from great sounding to amazing.

    That mans tech is insane for sure but I feel like the organization is missing, there is also no room acoustic treatment from what I can see. This guy clearly needs to hire some people to build a separate garage or maybe home theater extension to his house. I mean I love it and would absolutely kill for something like that but it just seems like he's beyond the point of diminishing returns. If it where me with that much money, Id build a separate room treated area with stereo listening on the back side and home theater facing forward, it could be so much cleaner and less cluttered. Like it can't be easy for the man to move any one of those items, he was walking with a cane.
    Again no hate, I just see what could be. Amazing non the less!

The JTR line would be great for a very large dedicated Home Theater room (at least 25 x 40). And I do realize 1 pair of top of the line Wilson or Focal speakers probably comes atleast close to the cost of everything shown. JTR speakers are terrific because the don't cost $400,000 like the others mentioned. One high end Bolder amp can cost as much as that who rack of Emotiva equipment.

    Just uneducated & unnecessary excess - When you have more money than you do ‘half a clue’. Room size / configuration wrong. Listening sofa hard up and blocking the rear speakers entirely. TV is 4ft behind the centre speaker with a unnatural viewing height/head angle of at least 45 degrees. Centre speaker 4ft above head height and tweeters no where near ear alignment, let alone alignment with LR tweeters. This would not be in phase or coherent.... Youthman’s and just about anyone else’s set up would sound much better than this. Maybe not louder but sound much better.
