    It was so powerful to see the journalists lower their cameras out of respect for the Queen's grief. You'll almost never see that in this day and age.

      very true. even more so when you think about FDR, who was in a wheelchair his entire presidency and never shown in it. always behind a table or sitting in a chair.

    I sure wish he could have lived longer and given her and Philip time to enjoy a less pressured life that they were thrown into so suddenly. She really was a great and classy Monarch.

      a lot of us wish he could have lived longer, but unfortunately he smoked too much which affected his health

      Yes even 6 months or 15 months might have made all the difference, especially to Philip and his naval career. There would probably have been a lot smaller gap between Anne and Andrew.RIP King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

    It's so beautiful that the tribe of Kenya paid their respects as the queen to be was led away, beautifully done 🤗♥️🙏🕯️🕊️✝️

    This scene makes me cry every time. And real life, when we were shown aborigines watching Princess Diana’s funeral on a Jumbotron in the outback……..😭

    Where they flying the Queen's standard on the car? They had one of those but forgot a black dress?

      I have read conflicting reports including that Bobo Macdonald had forgotten to pack one. I think the most likely reason that no black dress was available was because most of luggage had already been loaded onto the Gothic on which they would sail to the Pacific
