No, this looks rather like some ancient creature that had been evoked to this world just so that it would viciously and effortlessly destroy Slender man. It looks evil and powerful. What a work of art... this guy should work in the movie industry. 👏
I know the basic concept of how the body-plan of these costumes works, but I feel like there’s a lot of crazy stuff that could be done for tweaking the overall presence of one of these by having maybe a limp extra set of fake miniature ’limbs' around your stomach that just sway as you move. And plus, who’s to say you even need to make the mask part specifically look like it has a vaguely human face shape, you could put off some pretty crazy stuff by making it either look like the head was farther up, or there was simply a massive mouth with multiple rows of teeth in place of a face.
That would be cool. I normally love vicious and outlandish monster designs, but my plan for this one was to create an unsettling silhouette. I like the idea of making something more detailed though.
Great Costume!!! You did very good. I know its difficult to walk in those stilts, but you seem to have the hang of it like a BEAST, so to speak, LOL!!!
Super cool seeing you and hanging out Halloween night! Come join our haunted tunnel next year! It’ll be a blast we plan for a whole little bbq pit and popcorn and Carmel Apple station! And more!
@ViTheClown the video on the structure of the stilts is linked in the description. The thickness was foam mattress topper material glued onto the stilt structure. The "skin" is a velvety black material, but nothing too fancy. The entire thing is sloppily made, but I was lucky that it worked out. I plan on remaking the entire costume for next year.
@LandondelGamer Do it! I've linked a video for the leg stilts. However, I want to remake them. There's a channel called Spiritwalker and his stilts seem much more lightweight and maneuverable. I can more well in this custom, but it would be nice to gallop.
@@noblescale1600 oh nice! i´m working on another stilt spirit, kinda similar to yours (bc i love black colour) but it´s a lot harder than i thought it would be even though my friend is helping me a lot. any advices for begginer?
@@lokycz8952 The black hides alot of gaps and joints, as well as making small strips in the material to "blend" things visually. I'd make sure that your stilts are as comfortable as possible. I'd tough it out for 4 hours at the haunt but it probably shouldn't be worn for that long because it started rubbing my skin off. That's mostly due to the friction from EVA foam so watch those areas. Now I mainly used EVA because that's what I'm use to, so you might see what materials other people used and those might be easier and more practical.
@ViTheClown I added material that curves back over the top of the head. Then I added a strap that connects from that and buckles under my chin. Kinda like a bike helmet. It kinda chokes me a bit.
@Water-z7n I think so. If you look up the behind the scenes of actors for the new Planet of the Apes movies, they use stilts just on the forearms to help them "crawl".
Initially it was about $200. I aimed to keep costs low. It's updated a bit more now with repairs and visual improvements which brought it closer to $300.
@Shorbc Yes! I love the idea of doing other types of creatures with stilts. I've kept in contact with this one guy who's made his own version of Abyss already. If you have Instagram, I would like to follow you because I want to see what others create.
People would go crazy for this if you made more of these costumes and sold them.
Haha not a bad idea. I'm currently changing this one to wear I can walk on 2 legs.
@@noblescale1600 I'd love to see a video if you finish that aswell! But no pressure. :)
@@Trees... A video for it is in the planning stages actually.
@@noblescale1600 Exciting! I'll keep an eye out for it. :)

I love your creation. I like how sleek it is. Looks like the kinda pet the Slender Man would have.
Thank you! I'd also say he'd fit in just fine with the Slenderman family.

Great idea. I have a disturbing Screaming Skull GhostFace mask that I might use for mine.
Ooh great ideas
you just predicted that one mossy dog monster thing that's been going around the Internet
Dope costume and song. Loved that album and haven't heard that song in years
Accessories like top hats, plague doctor masks, etc. would go great with that
Completely in love with your costume I love how slim it looks!
Reminds me of the creatures from Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal.
Very nice!!
Building my own.. Might not be as nice as yours but I will upload videos after Halloween!
Thanks! It was a lot of learning and problem solving for me. It'll be worth it once you finish though.

Thank you 🙏 Believe or not I got on a stage at a costume party and dance in the costume lol it gets very difficult after a while.
Very nice, one day I hope ro make a costume as awesome as this.
Thank you so much! It wasn't too hard to make initially but then began a lot of trial and error

And my stilt creature too!
looks awesome! 💜👍
Now make the eyes glow white. If all I see in the dark is a pair of white yes imma run
Scary costume and I’m your 200 subscriber😎
awesome would love to see you collab with the spiritwalker
I think I've seen what you're talking about. That one looks really sick.
The darkness!
I wish the foam part on the leg didnt get skipped, it coulda at least been sped up or something
OR AT LEAST THE MATERIALS!! Like a full in depth video of steps would’ve been amazing

Wow badass man!
Amazing~ I loved it :o
I'm gonna try build a cheap diy version of this for Halloween
This is actually a cheap diy version. It was $200 at first and was fine but I spent an extra $100 to make it better in my eyes.
It's really incredible, but what is the name of the music?
Thank you 🙏 The song is House Carpenter by Hurt. They've been around a while, but I very rarely hear their music out in the wild.
This looks great! How do you get out of the costume without falling?
I got to sit on something tall like a countertop. I've never fallen but if I did I'd have to take everything off to get myself up again.
SO COOL
@@Water-z7n thank you!
Someone just release an ancient spirit
It is spooky month and I need it

@@noblescale1600 your welcome

Yep I can see it lol
Bro you should add some glow in the dark lines around it
It would be cool to do analog horrors
@giganotossaurobr7207 that's a pretty good idea, actually. The grain could make the costume look more real.
Reminds me of Jim Henson's Landstriders
Im going to build this and learn how to run in it so I can scare people

@@clementerodriguez3846 it hurts some. My arms and shoulders hurt the most. I stand or lean on something whenever I can.
What kind of foot stilts did you use?
The link is in the description for instructions on the foot stilts. I used the same method as Stilt Factory did in their video.
Very Cool
I’m making this.
what did you use for the legs to make you taller?
They're stilts that I had to build from scratch. The link to that video is in the description.
@@noblescale1600 okay
Did you make the stilts 2 foot or 3 foot?
Maybe beef up the limbs a bit ? Make it more proportionate. It’s an awesome looking creature but the arms especially are kind of toothpicky.
I have a bit and filled in a lot of the gaps, though I'll never truly be finished tweaking it. It's updated look is in my newest video briefly.
