Starting to get cold and the front fan in my wife's van stopped working. Been catching a lot of "slack" for a while now. thanks to your video this morning I got coffee and a hit breakfast instead of having my ear chewed off because the heat in my car works and not hers.

Hi: Great video, very detailed and to the point. When I hit the blower motor, it started inmediately. How do I now if I need to replace the blower motor right away or can I assume it will keep working normally? Any response would be great. Thanks in advance

Very clear explanation/instruction, with good visuals. I suppose the next stage is to test the blower motor resistor, yes? Thank for taking your time to film this and uploading it.

If this doesn't work for you and it's still not working turn on your ac and then SAFELY wiggle the wire that connects to your cooling fan and runs to your fuse box. I did this and it came on. It's a wiring issue

Thank you for this video. With your information I was able to get my air conditioner to start working. The problem was with the wiring to my blower motor.

Thanks for this video I was prepared for the worst I was thinking man's going to cost hundreds of dollars to fix the Heat in this Sorrento then I ran across your video I checked out my blower motor and that's what it was a loose wire I wiggled it a little bit and it came right on. I'll give you guys some tips also be careful stuffing mail in your glove box that's what happened my wife filled the box full of Old Mail a piece of paper got down where the blower motor was at and it lodged in between the wires and made a bad connection now it's working just fine since I fixed the problem. Also make sure you keep a good clean cabin air filter that will also mess your heater up.

Most likely a clock spring fault in the steering assembly

Hello, I have a 2011 Kia Sorento EX V6, with an electronic A/C control unit in the dash rather than the analog as shown in this video, for about a year I've been having intermittent blower won't work, sometimes when I raise the speed to the last 2 bars on Control unit, to get straight 12 v it starts to work, and then I can adjust all levels of air flow, but now it just doesn't want to work. I've checked the 7.5 amp fuses under the dash, I've checked the fuse in the plastic bank in the engine compartment. I have replaced, the Relay, Resister, Blower motor and the A/C control unit in the dash, Now my system has a normal 5 second delay before the blower starts to work at start up, but at this time still doesn't work past it's 5 sec delay. I'm stumped I've checked and greased with dialectic grease the connectors. I wish I could send you a photo of my A/C control unit for reference. Any help would be awesome.

I have a 2014 Kia Sorento. Blower motor comes on in mornings. Sometimes it doesn’t. When I kick the side. It does every now & then. So I have either bad resistor or blower motor. Haven’t investigated into it yet. 🙄

I have my Sorento EX giving me trouble with the AC and is so aggravating since i live in south FL (always damn hot)
The driver side vents blow warm/hot air while the passenger side blows cold air. Anybody had this problem before ?

Where is the headlight low /high fuse located?

    • @juniorcruz469

P.S the wires run to a PCM. If your trying to connect something for 12V like me (fogs) , I used the outlet fuse inside compartment. I don't recommend tapping into pcm very expensive fix if you damage it.

I think you need to replace the resistor right next to where the blower motor is.
