    I love that we have a 3rd option now and I hope Intel keeps making them. They are improving the drivers with frequent updates and it's just so nice to have one to test and play with, even if it's not your daily driver.

    Isn´t it crazy to see that Intel now is the "budget option" ?

    • @Enzed_
      @Enzed_ ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I'll still prefer AM4 for budget builds currently. It's cheaper to get AM4 motherboards, even though the platform is dead. If you went for a Ryzen 5 you could even upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800x3D in the future.

    • @CFWhitman
      @CFWhitman ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@andegallagher6645 Just as a side note: -Technically the DDR5 RAM used in this build is 3600 MHz, but it's 7200 MT/s. DDR4 RAM at 3600 MHz would only be 3600 MT/s, so that's why they changed to listing MT/s instead of MHz. It's a more apt comparison to MHz in older types of RAM, since older types of RAM are one transfer per cycle while DDR5 is two transfers per cycle.-
      Actually, it's the bandwidth that has been doubled to make the memory so much faster than DDR4 RAM while the core clock runs at the same speed. The bus clock is effectively doubled. It's not really appropriate with any DDR RAM to refer to the speed in MHz. The core clocks have run at the same speeds for generations of memory, while the bus clocks have gotten faster and faster. However, the MT/s is always double the bus clock's frequency.

    How Forza was consuming more than 8GBs of VRAM? It was nearly at 9GBs and Injustice 2 exceeded 9GB

    Never ever ever did I ever think, back while playing my NES, SNES, or even N64 that people would actually complain "oh, I can ONLY hit 60 frames per second on my super high resolution 4K flat screen...
    ...seriously? We're at the point where you guys find faults in games because they ONLY push 60 frames a second at a better resolution, to the point where you actually want to play in a lower resolution than your native screen to get 100 frames instead?
    I'm going to start purposefully locking everything I do at 60 frames just so I never become THAT unhealthily obsessive about it or even care. Most people can't even tell the difference unless the image is one after the other or side by side. You're not going to look at a screen and go "er um, that's ONLY 80 frames per second sir, I'm gonna need at least 100 or it's not worth my time"
    And once the low end cards start to catchup and become proficient in 4K, some idiot is going to do some trendy thing that makes everyone want 8K... at what point are you going to realize there will no longer be a difference to the human eye? 8K? 16K? 32K??? Yet people will still claim they can see a difference and complain rather than just enjoying tech.

    I honestly have no idea, why Asrock cut down the VRAM of the A770 down to 8 GB instead of keeping the 16 GB, like the reference version.

      Asrock didnt cut it down, there are simply 2 version of the A770.

    Sorry to bother, how did you manage to get these results? I bought the same GPU after seeing your results... and I have 30 fps in GOW... CPU is Ryzen 9 3900x and 36gb ram so it shouldn't be an issue...
