    I have the Sparkle A770 16Gb, it is what we needed in the $300 range with enough vram and it's playing a lot of games now.

      $300 is still just to much it also isn’t that fast over the a750 also Amazon chargers way to much over $300 and that’s where I have my warranty’s located through Asurian subscription

    8 months with that card , no issue , run perfect

    I have this exact card! I also have several 3D Mark records with the 12600k. I love it because it was worth every penny, and it doesn't crash. No driver issues yet! Moved from AMD and more than happy! If I had it to do over I might consider the 8gb Orc to hold me until Battlemage arrives!

    • @ProceuTech
      @ProceuTech  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      By troubleshooting, I'm referring to solving small performance issues or weird instances of bugs/glitches. Most prominently, this used to be the card crashing the entire system, and this could be fixed by not increasing the power target in the driver. Those sorts of issues with hard crashing rarely happen anymore with either the A750 or A770, but small graphical glitches in older games still occur, and I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what's going wrong there.

      I am a Gamer, and can tell you I have 0 issues! I have heard this troubleshooting thing before, and believe its because early on there were issue's. I moved from AMD because of issue's. Needless to say that I will not be going back.

    A-770 here. If you do not play Bethesda games these cards are great. My old 6gb 1060 creams the 770 in everything from Skyrim to Starfield.

    Using on 4k. Most work OK. Drivers have really made it happen last 4-6 months. Can't wait for the APO to get more into games. Hopefully also on 12th and 13th gen CPU's. This will boost the performance 10-50%. That's huge.

      @@unreal4967 14th not 13th. As for now. But 12 can and 13th and 14th share the same die. It is only a matter of software update to include these also. All share the same socket. If people put more pressure on INTEL they have to. If not they would like to sell you the 14th gen and the consumers loose. More noise is needed.

      I’m really hoping Intel can pull and be successful this time. But there’s a lot of people who are dead set on amd and nvidia so Intel really gonna have to drive it home. Currently having an a750 cause I was on a budget. But if battlemage gen is substantially better imma have to upgrade then. Their prices are pretty darn great too. Good middle ground between high price of nvidia, and better from what I see than AMD when it comes to ray tracing

    • @paulboyce8537
      @paulboyce8537 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AntCrazyy If numbers are correct it will be at 4080 performance and prediction for the price anywhere from $400 to $600. But there might be a catch. It might need the 14th gen CPU and APO. So very good for new builds but a disappointment for for those with 12th and 13th gen CPU's or AMD. Personally I think for INTEL the ARC is a marketing tool to sell CPU's. I hope the APO will be included for the 12th and 13th gen.

    • @AntCrazyy
      @AntCrazyy 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@paulboyce8537 that is true but since I’m Intel anyway we good. And plus it’s pretty great price to performance seeing as I got mine for 200 bucks. If I’m upgrading my GPU imma upgrade my CPU anyway. So either way if this is true it’s sick. But if there is no catch then that’s crazier

    I have a question: I can't decide what should I pick for a video editing PC (Premiere Pro + Davinci Resolve): an ARC770 OR an RTX4060? I've heard Davinci Resolve needs lots of VRAM, will 16Gb of ARC770 work for it?
    What would you advice? Thanks in advance!

    • @ProceuTech
      @ProceuTech  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      From my experience, the 4060 and A770 perform kind of similarly when rendering and in general timeline performance. The AV1 encode block in the A770 actually helps a lot with keeping file sizes to a more reasonable level, and it’s also generally very fast when compared to H264/H265. I’d pick up the A770 in this case but that’s just me!

  • @thelovebat
    @thelovebat 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    From many benchmark video comparisons I've seen and much discussion of the A770 I've seen online, the A770 performs pretty well now on 1440p settings with the recent driver updates Intel has brought to it. It actually does better on more recent games that are possibly more compatible with the architecture of the card, while on older games the performance can sometimes be mediocre compared to the competition (though as long as you can get a consistent 60 FPS, that should usually be fine on older titles).
    I hope Intel stays in the GPU game and continues to heavily support their graphics cards, as more competition is good. The tough sell with Intel graphics cards right now is that their performance is way more inconsistent than Nvidia or AMD graphics cards, since Nvidia and AMD have had a lot more time to refine their hardware and their driver software. If Intel developed some good technology that could be utilized if having both an Intel CPU and Intel GPU together that would be pretty sweet, especially if Intel were to have prebuilt computer configurations to sell for budget and mid tier PCs.

    DOSBox doesn't work with the Intel Arc cards anymore since about 4 months ago with driver 4676, and Intel doesn't seem to be interested in fixing that. Keep that in mind before you get an Arc GPU.

      @@JasonTaylor-po5xc I use Da Vinci resolve, and the Intel GPUs run very well in it. Can't really think of any issues I experience now, since I'm running the A770, and ran an A750 before that. It used to have errors in rendering videos, but that hasn't happened in 6+ months since I updated to DaVinci Resolve 18. The Render times on the A770 are actually very good, better than an old 3070ti I used to use. I can do some more testing and get back to you on using it for streaming! I stream casually to friends, and haven't had an issues, but I can def do bitrate testing and the like on AV1!
