How to use the ZOOM in the studio to help get better sounding in studio performances.
A couple additional suggestions:
- Put some space between the ZOOM and the performers
- MUTE the Aux Input when they are done with the song and make them use the interview mics otherwise you will get a TON of background noise and EVERYTHING anyone says will be heard, which can be bad if they have BAND MOUTH.
- If it sounds good to you, that is pretty much the same thing the zoom will pickup.
- If you want to get more vocals, use one or two of the interview mics as a vocal mic and mix them in using the extra mixer and the second channel on the mixing board.
- There are normal size mic stands in the longer seat in the entry room.
