The J120 diesel is great if you want something super simple to deal with. It's got a 4-speed auto compared to the 6-speed in the 150 but it's so easy to work on yourself. It's also got less nannies and overall the efficiency is not much different compared to the 150. Not to mention you can get them for around Kshs 2 million, they are the deal of the century.
Hey mgc, here is my take on the Prado. Well I just find the 2.7ltr prado very lazy because you have to press down the pedal for more accerallation. Littrelly everything in the basic prado is cheap😂. But I love the VX_L local which I find to be quite powerful. We also have the KAKADU and a very rare trim called the ALTITUDE. THANKS MGC
If you are someone who isn't into too much gimmicks & tech and who appreciates craftsmanship & quality in a vehicle then consider one of these vehicles in the Toyota/ Lexus line up: 1) Lexus lx600 2) Lexus Lx570 3) Lexus Gx 460 (2023) or if you like me and like the classy old school, then the Lexus lx470 or Cygnus will be good too. At least their interior's aren't too "Plasticky" like the modern cars of today. Those interiors are well crafted.
You definitely put your character into the review, keep at it!
best honest review i got so far

Thanks for sharing Mike!
Another great video. Would be interested in seeing you look at LC300, Prado 250 and maybe Fortuner as well
Thanks for tuning in! Lots more content coming to MGC.

I was under the impression that the Kakadu variant is of the Australian Market?
Just the name, I assume Kakadu is a TZ.G spec Prado
@MasaiGainz oho yeah, makes sense.
which 2.7 engine responds better, is it the j150 or the j120.
Same , though 120 is lighter so will feel more zippy

Exactly how the Prado looks, expensive and overrated 🙄 200 series all the way
