After watching the Grand Tour episode on French cars, the things that annoy you a bit are very common in French cars. Peugeot is actually the tame one when you compare it to Citroen or Renault.
I hope that Peugeot's current marketing strategy in PH pays off. It's extra tough to convince potential buyers in the subcompact, compact, and midsize crossover segments to choose character over affordability these days.
I really like the 'character' of Peugeot vehicles, but I agree w you with regards to the aspect of affordability. 👍

I Love this Car. Unique among all Subcompact Crossover. Look at the front end. Amazing Design with its DRL light.
You're spot on with that Piano-like controls on the centre console...but as a musician myself, I actually see that as something similar to a keyboard synthesizer! I actually like it since it resembles an instrument of my choice :)

I've seen this car personally and went inside. Immediately, I felt claustrophobic. Though this car looks great.
There's no denying how good looking this car is but for the price should have better features.

It has lane keep assist, Lane departure warning, forward collision warning, auto emergency braking, traffic sign recognition etc. Keep in mind these are made in Malaysia and not China so the price can't be pushed down as much
When are you reviewing the new Mazda CX-3? Mazda PH is bringing in the facelifted version from 2018
I considered buying this car as of oct 2022 it's priced at 1.7 million which is a lot the car doesn't even have power tailgate and that small engine for the price feels kindi ripoff, I went with the Volkswagen T-Cross instead.
I have this car in the GT style with the EAT 8 speed auto and it is brilliant. I have 2 usb charging points in the rear on the UK model. Good review though
I've got the facelift 2024 model GT its a great car if i had to critize any thing about it is the new design wheels

How is 1.6 in it?
we both have the current gen and previous gen 3008. both are diesel. both came from france. i wonder why the diesel variant was discontinued. we bought the France sourced 3008 for 2.89m. i think for 1.55m, this 2008 is better suited with a diesel engine. might be a very good seller.
These are built in Malaysia and diesels aren't that popular there. Even in Europe, Peugeot is starting to prioritize EVs with the e-2008

Caco the pockets behind the front seats look deep enough for knives to be stored which will come in handy for kids to pull out for some in car entertainment to break the ice when your stuck in metro traffic 😉

Since it,.Has only an a-c,.On the front cockpit does it really cool the whole car? I'm just curious since for it's competitor the coolest,,.. It also has the samething and that's a-c only in the front and none on the back

Hey, Caco. I'm confused. Your site says 4 banger while here you mentioned it's a 3 cylinder.
The petrol 1.2 are turbo charged and the diesels are 4 cylinders

Generally they are very reliable and have some of the best 3 cyl engines right now. (I am from EU and our roads are full of french cars)

Sa tingin nyo pangit kase bihira kayo makakita ng ganyan.. pero dto sa italy pag nakakakita ako ng sedan napapangitan den ako kase hnd uso talaga dito.
Ganyan sasakyan ko dito peugeot 2008 70k km na tnatakbo wala pa nagiging problema pero diesel yung sakin 1.6 turbo diesel 120hp manual
Di hamak na mas mabilis at mas malakas ang makina kompara sa honda city ko sa pinas na 2019 model
Sobra tipid pa sa city driving 18km/L sa highway naman 24/25km/L
This car got character, like all other cars and this is its only selling point RIP pricing.
I think we need somebody twice Caco's size in front of the camera pwhen referrencing the leg and head room at the back since Caco's body size is extra small so of course he will have plenty of leg and head room the average size person 🤣 (No pun intended)*

Weirdly enough, i would buy this at 1.75 if its the complete package, but at 1.55 i cant buy “uniqueness” and character with wheels attached to it, and its only unique to the likes of you, no offense
I like the reviews of autodeal pero ang likot nya lang mag express. Mjo ow ey lang pagka ano nya. Bawas bawasan nya lang sana ng konti para masaya.
GAC GS4 at 500k php cheaper has almost the same characteristics and drive as this car. Its just the name that made it cost that much.
Peugeot's here are made in Malaysia if I recall correctly, so it's not as cheap as Chinese made cars.

I think the 2008 looks better than the GS4, but the latter has several positive reviews in terms of driving dynamics (ex. carguide ph, go flat out ph, auto ph, RIT). And yes, much much cheaper than the 2008..
But I like both hehe.

It's manufactured in Malaysia, brought here in our market as CBUs (completely built units).

Just test drive the vehicle, fuel efficiency & easy for driving. Very good handling.
There is so much wrong with this car, especially the price they are asking for what it offers compared to the Opposition. Good luck in selling them.
