OH Wavey!, that Duty pda had proof that the Duty Colonel was selling guns to the Bandits. you were supposed to take it to the Freedom guys and start a minor war to kick Duty out of Yanov. If you ask the Duty guys about the past in Anomaly they will tell you that Col. Shugara was a shit stick and that was the disaster that ruined their credit with the STALKERS. Also on the way South from the AAA complex there is a small bridge and under it you will find a FRIENDLY squad of Monolith that are released from their mind control and want to join you.
While aiming you can even see the shell get jammed in the eject port the moment it happens. Very slick.
