Hey Caroline! I heard after 7 to 8 years of working as an associate in BigLaw, u have to work towards becoming a partner at the firm your working. Is this the same process for someone working in some other company like Google, Apple etc. that is not a BigLaw firm ??
it's generally opportunity for law students to gain some practical legal experience while at school! so they do pro bono work with clients or get placed at a legal organization to help out. There's a huge variety of clinics like a sports law clinic, animal law, cyberlaw, legal aid, refugee rights and more
