i didnt pay attention the first time i joined bluehost and the renewal was over 300€ !! i lost 10yrs of my life that day....

I got to tell you, they wanted $412 Cdn for a year at my renewal, goodbye bluehost!

I just came across your video trying to find bluehost alternatives... i haven't had many issues yet but it is Renewal time and I just went onto the dashboard and I cannot see the renewal pricing anywhere! As well as my order history is hidden. they are hounding to set up my auto renewal since the card on file is expired but have completely hidden renewal prices! time to switch lol

I never realised that the renewal is much higher after one year, everywhere. That's a shame ☹
Of course, I just renewed... I need to see what is a better value and cancel when possible.
Lots of better value options out there! I'd migrate away from BlueHost at least a month or so before your service is set to expire, that way you can make sure everything transferred smoothly before the files are deleted from their servers.

Bluehost chat 'support' is a gigantic waste of time. Their phone support is okay but it used to be world-class - you'd call and get people at their head office in the USA who took a lot of time to help you through things. Now, as with most companies, you get people who barely speak English somewhere in the world....probably getting paid $3/hour.
100% true. Then they will disconnect with you when they don't have an answer, instead of just saying so. Its a complete joke.
For me it says 3.68/month regular price for basic, its not too bad. I don't know why you its 8/month
I think they change the intro price from time to time. The renewal price will be more. But even at that decent intro price, you can still find better hosting for less at Hostinger or DreamHost.

Bluehost is a real scammer. They will charge you 4 times more than the first year when you renew. Login feature is stupid. Even though you dont set up automatically renew, they will charge you automatically. Avoid this guy at all cost.

Sure I do. Because some people watch my advice to not buy it and yet they still buy it as a result of my content. I say in my description that I use affiliate links and that people are always welcome to make purchases on their own not using my links.
