    Thank you so much. I have yet to make any jewelry, but I have spent hundreds of dollars on supplies in preparation to do so. I have been so confused as to what I really need to start with and why. Thank you for spelling it out for us newbies.

    Your tutorials are great! I can't watch any others because they either go to fast or don't have the real time showing of how you tweak and re-work things to make them right. I'm new to jewelry making and I'm really loving the wire wrapping and learning the foundations. I'm not very good yet but I absolutely LOVE your tutorials and always watch for new ones. I have made some several good pairs of earrings from you videos and I get asked about them I direct them to Fantasia Elegance! I'm a fan! Krista

    Extremely helpful to me, a relative new comer to wire jewelry. I’m determined to master this feat, or at least become somewhat proficient in handling the wire and have it do what I intend for it to do. You truly amaze me with your command of the tools and wire. Your work is no less than breathtaking, honestly., especially when I watch you take it from spooled wire to finished piece. I am amazed. Thank you for sharing you knowledge and skill in your videos. I’ve been binge watching your videos, and loving it. I guess I could say, I want to be like you when I grow up, LOL! From a new fan in Texas.✨💖✨

    EXCELLENT explanation!! Thank you! I love your videos and your a wonderful, talented artist. I was wondering if you have a video explaining the differences in crimp bead and tube sizes? The information (or lack of) out there is very confusing and inadequate. I feel like they mislead a lot of new jewelers into having to buy the very larger sizes of 3 & 4- included with the 1 & 2 that are most often used with beading wire, but I have yet to understand what to do with the humongous crimp sizes of 3 & 4! I would love any information and project ideas you could share in understanding how and when to use these crimp sizes.
    Thank you! 💗God bless.

    Could i use aluminum wire for making ring? Thank you.

    • @FantasiaElegance
      @FantasiaElegance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, the only thing to consider is that aluminum is a soft metal, so you'll want to either use a thick gauge and harden it by hammering, like in this ring design ( www.etsy.com/listing/178521225/adjustable-silver-ring-hammered-texture?ref=shop_home_active_8 ) or you'll want to pick a style where it wrapped several times and reinforced in such a way that that wire can't bend out of shape too much.

      Stainless steel wires are lovely at a fair price but they are not strong and will snap with minimal pressure and are ill suited for wrapping wires together or holding stones in place. Bronze I haven’t worked with yet.

    • @FantasiaElegance
      @FantasiaElegance  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm, I don't know exactly what type of wire that would be, but in general some of the issues you run into with wire not specifically made for jewelry making are the temper being unreliable (so it might be much harder to work with) or the wire containing metals which may not be as good for wearing as jewelry (for example nickel or trace lead). I know many folks have no issues with purchasing copper wire from hardware stores, though, so maybe you'd be fine!

    • @FantasiaElegance
      @FantasiaElegance  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Love the name XD No, you can certainly use stainless steel! You may find it more difficult to work with, as it tends to be harder to bend and shape. In addition, if you're making ear wires, you'll want to make sure you get surgical grade stainless steel to avoid allergens/irritation.
